She seems to be getting better, more focused now, surpassing Noory.

At least we have some "trick questions" coming up, she promises.

I'm sorry I don't want ufology and paranormal light and fluffy.  I liked John Wells ten times better than this crème horn.

This is the most superficial host to date on Coast.  Even Noory asks better questions when he's not napping during the show.

I think we now all know why Jorge chose her.

I'm finding this interview confusing, disjointed, repetitive.   I want to know more about the aliens here... do they date, form relationships, eat like we do, have children, etc.???

I want to be fair and give her a chance but she's trying WAY too hard.  It's forced and annoying as hell.  Horror you've got it right on!  :o

I completely agree.  The too-much laughter is TOO MUCH!  At least her voice isn't as phony as Lisa Garr's.

What was Tommy going to do with the clearly disturbed callers? Call EMS or find some local help for them? Send them some $$ from this charity that George used to talk about? Wow. Callers last night were something else. I like crazy callers but not the sad or abused ones.

No doubt they have list for support groups and therapists that they dish out for "we're going to help you" callers.

Well, I'll be a SON OF A BITCH!!!   ;)    Good lord, Noory about pooped his pants......grow up, man.  What a puritanical sissy.

I'm not a fan of non-stop swearing, but........GROW UP, GEORGE!!!!  It happens...... face it and stop reacting like a grandmother.  This is Coast, not Sunday school.

"heh, heh, heh, heh"...in deep authoritarian tones, like Noory was being assaulted by a barrage of FU words and he was the supreme ruler (his big chance). Big deal.  What a wuss...oh... and What an ass.   He seemed to look for any opportunity to put down the guest.    Noory's got to go.   The only thing good about him?  He's fodder for those who can't stand his character flaws, for which there are too many to overload one brain on, especially mine.

Someone asked me the other day, how much honey I've got at home, and I said "At Least A Jar".  There are no coincidences.

I have tuned in to her internet radio shows because of the subject matter, but I just can't get passed her very affected speech.  It's distracting, more so than Noory, who cracks me up with his wordsmith ways.   Lisa Garr reminds me of my pretentious aunt who has that same kind of phony speaking voice.  Otherwise, she's fine and at least asks decent questions, unlike you know who.

Interesting, her voice in the videos above sounds more natural and not phony like her radio voice.

Why is George playing love songs?!

It's hump day...

Is it really too much to ask that George identify the bands/singers of the bumper music?   I don't know most of them and I SO appreciate it when the other professional hosts mention them.  What's his problem with it?   He wants us to all run to the computer to guess which one we're looking for on the list?  It's frustrating to me, especially when I like a song and have no idea who what or where about it.

hehe  GN said "College of Lettuce"  instead of Letters.   ;D

Haha cell phone horror story hotline. Is george fucking serious. A 5 minute piece on how is a horror story fat tommy gets calls in morning. Wtf, literally everyone I know who works nights has that issue.

Are phone calls really a horror?

Really....Is that best he could come up with to discuss for open lines?

Lord, someone sounds like they've had a bit much to drink tonight.

Does George have some kind of weird compulsion to say "good point" at times when it makes no sense to do so? He says it whether or not it fits the situation. Is it like a nervous tic? He's done it for years.

It's to let us know that he's the authority on everything.  His one upmanship is part of his mental script roboton.

"It's a bad habit."

It's not a habit.  That's Tommy with the teleprompter.

He's a bad habit that will continue for a long time because of his new contract.  Don't his superiors even listen to show???   They must be as lame-brain as Noory is.   His idiocy leaves the door open for another show to open up.   It's just a matter of time before more of us pull the plug on Coast2Coast.

He's on auto-pilot -  generic responses that are clearly just something to say because he feels he has to respond for some reason.  In all these cases, he kinda muffles his replies like they're an after thought.  But what gets me really ticked, time after time, is how he talks over his guests when they are about to say something I really want to hear. He interrupts, then goes on to another usually stupid question but usually takes another caller...like that's far more important.   Does George do this deliberately???  I think it's that he doesn't listen and is already formulating his next question to the detriment of being a good interviewer.   It's a bad habit.

Dude, tip of the iceberg. He's a non sequitur automaton instead of a talk show host:

Good point!
Of course
That's huge!
You too

hey somebody was talking about the stations that currently run the piece of shit that is C2C, (i still average most nights a week tho), and I was curious if any stations other than KFI in LA run an immediate rebroadcast of the show...?

KFBK 1530am in Sacramento immediately goes into a rerun for at least two hours.

Why do guests always tell George he is asking good questions when he is asking stupid questions?

Yeah, I've been suspicious of this for months.  I always wonder if they are prompted by Tommy to say that to make George appear more astute than he really is.   It's just too coincidental that almost every guest says "That's a good/great question, George."   And it never is...it's usually a mediocre question born from absolutely no insight.

The bumper music is all listed at the c2c website when the summary of the show is up: Bumper music from Wednesday April 24, 2013

Thank you so much, Morgus...I listened to a few samples online and eventually found it on YouTube.   I hear it played often on Coast and I think the first part is intriguing so I wanted to hear more.   It's The Lung Shadows by Dusk.   So, now I'm listening in its entirety on You Tube.

With all of Noory's yakking about himself, what's five seconds to rattle off the title and band of the music?

Thank you, again...

I think they played Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult a little while ago.  Is that the one you meant?

It wasn't that one...might have come on earlier.  Not sure.. I think there's a bumper music list on the Coast site.  I wish Noory would say what the music is before or after it plays.  Wells often does and I appreciate it.

Does anyone know the bumper music that just played?

How do they come up with an Estimated Value for a charity event? And who picked it?

I like that it is so high. I think it is crazy someone is paying 1800 for a dinner with Nooron but it would be kinda funny if it didn't make it halfway to it's worth. Not for the charity but they were probably expecting it.

Ohhhhhh

I'd be willing to bet he's bidding on himself to make him look popular...or he's paying Tommy to do it.

Well, first thing out of Snoory's mouth was that he spent nine years in the Navy - go figure...

OMG, not for the umpteenth time. Doesn't it ever end?  Does he think that every night is a new audience?

Ha Ha!  That is great.  I am picturing Coast to Coast squares (like Hollywood Squares).  Guests include: Ed Dames, The numbers lady Glynnis McCants, Jerome Corsi, Steven Quyale, Linda Moulton Howe, Captain Kelly Sweeny, Alex Jones, Rosemary Ellen Guiley, and in the middle square: Science Advisor, Richard Hoagland.
Your host:  Talk Legend, George Noory.
"Yes George.  I will take Steven Quayle to block."

That was hilarious and why I spend a lot of precious time here now when I could be listening to all the snooring reruns.  And I love the visual.  But sad prediction... we might have to wait until it's the Dexter Macabre show.  Wasn't it Bruce Goldman who said George's next lifetime wouldn't be as successful as this one has been?  Granted, it depends how you define success.  I think the new cast of characters will include Ed NoGames, Glynnis Ican'ts, Jerome ProNoorsi, SmartAlec Jones,  Catherine Having Fits, Psychic Slippery Browne, Ican Puntit, and Bitch Mattress.

I forget what the specific reason was, but even Noory made an issue of Dames being perpetually wrong a few years ago and publically "banned" Dames from the show for quite a while, but brought him back last year (maybe it was 2011).

I remember that and it was more than once he said that Dames had more misses than hits.  One time was during the yearly predictions nights last year...or maybe it was the year before.  And Dames is so adamant in tone and inflection that his predictions are spot on.  "It WILL Happen"...and BTW, God has spoken.

i wouldn't put it past Noory to have his staff cause the apparent phone problem with the guest.
odd it happened only at the end of the 2nd hour with no problems for over an hour with him, and right before Noory dumped him...

I bet we end up hearing Noory say it's one of his "little secrets."

For those still paying for Insider drop your subscription and use TuneIn. It will automatically record shows for you and you can listen anytime. Costing you nothing and putting another nail in coffin of Noory's career

Thanks so much for that, Dubb.

I haven't explored this but I saw something on www.iheart.com that has "Recently Played" that you can access through the My Stations tab.  I'll report later if I can get that to work for free.

He also "tries" to flirt when he gets a female caller once in a while.  I can't believe how obvious it is sometimes.  They'll get like ten minutes too while Snoory oozes out his shhtrange and creepy comments, thinking he is the Cassanova of the late night radio waves.

Yeah..it's like he forgets that he has an audience witnessing his sleazy ways.
