Well guys I received a quick response from Lisa and she wants my input into why I believe the show has gone downhill in general. I am about to compose my reply.

Last night's edition of Ghost to Ghost was worse even than I thought it would be. I mean, what's up with the first hour guest that has no relevance to the theme of the program?  What's up with the prescreened "stories?"

Noory has got to be the laziest, least creative, most robotic talker in all of radio.

Well let them know what you think.    I did.

PREMIERE NETWORKS has picked up syndication rights to ALPHA BROADCASTING Talk KXL-A/PORTLAND’s “GROUND ZERO WITH CLYDE LEWIS.” The show, focusing on the paranormal, conspiracy theories, UFOs, and other phenomena, will be nationally available weeknights 10p-1a (ET)/7-10p (PT) beginning AUGUST 27th.

“I feel that coming on with PREMIERE NETWORKS is like winning the lottery,” said LEWIS. “I’m joining a company where some of my inspirations are employed, like RUSH LIMBAUGH, GLENN BECK, NIKKI SIXX, and several others. This opportunity allows the show to expand worldwide. I feel a responsibility to push GROUND ZERO to a whole new level. If you think you’ve heard fireworks on the show before, just wait â€" with the help of PREMIERE, GROUND ZERO is now ready to drop the atom bomb.”
PREMIERE Pres./Content and Affiliate Relations JULIE TALBOTT said, “Once you’ve heard CLYDE, you quickly realize he is one of a kind. Equal parts entertainer, conspiracy theorist and news commentator, he keeps listeners tuned in throughout the night. It’s easy to see why he has been successful in PORTLAND, and we can’t wait to share his program with stations across the country.”
ALPHA Sr. Program Advisor BRIAN JENNINGS added, “I’ve worked with great syndicated and local talent in my 40-plus years in radio. I search for authentic, unique talent and CLYDE LEWIS breaks the mold. Since placing the show in PORTLAND, CLYDE has consistently owned his daypart by a 3-1 margin in the prime 25-54 demo with double digit shares. Not only am I on the edge of my seat, but I also can’t wait for what develops next. This show is clearly a home run and CLYDE is an all star.”
And ALPHA Dir./Programing SCOTT MAHALICK said, “CLYDE LEWIS’ surrealistic style will captivate you like a hypnotic trance and, before you know it, you will have listened for three hours.”

Hi All,

Here I was googling around this morning and suddenly bumped into one of my own old Coastgab posts on Wikipedia--about Art Bell!  Then a few clicks later I read that he has posted here---which is the equivalent of a Catholic reading that the Virgin Mary is appearing in the air above their old hometown, Medjugorje, and the whole world is talking about it. AND SCULLY DID NOT EVEN EMAIL ME? ??? ?

You just don't know who your friends really are.  I'm scrolling along and find Morphiaflow is back (kisses) then...wha...wha... FORT ROCK is also back? ??? ? Never saw a better proof of the existence of zombies-- looks like the living person but with a horrible corpse like twist and a detachment from reality.  You could almost feel the spittle and a rotten tooth or two coming off the screen on that scorpion rant.

AND THEN, as if I am not already laughing enough, my old friend Agent Orange outs me as a possible day/night Fort Rock!!!  I have always wanted to be that person who can completely hide their identity by donning a pair of glasses, Clark Kent style, but sorry, it's not me. People here are smart and witty.  Posting a borsch recipe here is the cyber equivalent of throwing a handful of shit at a panel discussing the latest update on the D.B. Cooper investigation.  It is apropos of...nothing.

With Art having posted on this thread, I imagine "Art Bell Quits Coast" will live on that adrenalin alone while posters blame each other for having "driven him away."  I'm sure Art will lurk at CoastGab just to read the comments on paranormal subjects which still interest him. Considering the many forms of public expression there are today, Art having invited people to interact with him via Ham radio is significant.  He, like many of us who are retired, are sick of the politics of working.  Ham radio allows him to interact with the world when he wants how he wants and it is stable--doesn't keep changing like Facebook.  It is also an old-timers hobby and automatically filters for people who would be of more interest for Art.  A man in the desert alone with a very young wife and a little girl-- YIKES he's bored.

He has to talk or post somewhere about paranormal subjects, especially since it's 2012-- look for him on other threads.

Anagrammy welcome back to the family.

Art murdered his wife, good riddance to bad rubbish.

That is a pretty cold-hearted false statement.

I hope you never have to go through losing a much loved spouse.

Karma is a bitch.

if art goes on the alex jones show, his stock will drop about 500% in my book.

I am no fan of that nutcase Alex Jones but I don't hold it against Art for being on his show.

Wasn't Alex on Art's show before ?  Maybe he is just returning the favor.

First I combine the four hours of the show into one file (complete show) using a free MP3 merge software.

I then name the the file like this example (for a file from today)  2011.11.01.GN

I use a suffix of the initials of the host doing the show.

Isn't the photo above, which I assume you are speaking of, his studio in the Phillipines? Did they move back?

The Bell family moved back to Pahrump Nevada over a month ago.

     Fool me once...

Pink Floyd will do a 50 city tour of the USA with Waters,Gilmour and Mason before Art comes back.

Frankly, there's just as good a chance that Syd Barrett and Rick Wright will be joining the tour as there is Art coming back.

I will be the first in line for both events.

I post the following because it is very rare Art responds to the endless requests and comments on his FB page, so this caught my eye. Ought to be good for another half page or so of speculation..

That is so cool.

I just had to check this to see if it was a photoshop creation...its not.

Bravo Art

Are you basing this on the fact that October 31 will be one year from Art's last broadcast?

Is one year a standard non-compete contract clause, or do you have specific information on this matter?  Inquiring minds want to know.  8)

Just basing it on the one year time frame....hopefully.

Speaking of Facebook, Art just posted an interesting reply to someone who said they have money to get him back on the air. Art said money wasn't the issue (keeping him off the air), but to stay tuned. Soooo, it sounds like Art might be announcing something soon. Here are the Facebook quotes:
Jimmi Kimbell:Art I will help you get back on the air, I have $$,we dont need any sponsership at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Art Bell: Thank you for the offer but money is not a issued, stay tuned

Well after that comment of Art's this thread is never going to die.
