 The establishment media wasn't able to shift the public into hillary's camp during the election even though they ("they" meaning the democrat power structure and their cronies) kicked out all the stops in attempting to do so and so now they've seized on the "fake news" red herring as a vehicle to gain more control.

They don't care that they were wrong, corrupt, unethical. . .cocksuckerish. . . or any other moral judgment the public could apply to them in their behavior during the campaign. They care that they found the limit of their power and now they are trying to push that limit. They've turned their attention to silencing alternative news sources and exercising content control on social media so that the next time they attempt to herd the public into the political camp of their choosing, they'll be successful.

These same people will tell you that we now have an authoritarian government. . .but they're trying to get that government to censor news.

The most important aspect of this will be the response of social networks. Within a few years twitter and facebook will be defacto branches of the government concerned with shaping public opinion and conducting surveillance. They already are to a great degree, but any wall between government and social network will be removed.

 Did someone say the Holocaust? I'm opposed to the Holocaust. The holocaust, in my opinion, was bad. The holocaust was bad for many reasons, which I will now exhaustively cite.

1. The Holocaust was horrible and mean.
2. The Holocaust was terrible and horrible.
3. The Holocaust was mean and terrible.
4. The Holocaust would probably make a good musical. Only homosexuals like musicals.
5. The Holocaust was gay.

 Back several years ago when a hispanic guy shot a black kid in self defense and whitey became the devil is when I think it began.
