Somebody was trying to audition for Heather's slot.  I think it was Lasha.

I tend to agree unless the guest isn't that interesting.  I'm not a fan of a split show format as a rule but it is fine for some guests.

Yeah,  but you should know from experience that when the guest sucks, the calls are entertaining.

Dave,  when you're taking calls,  I think you'll need to dedicate all three hours to one guest.   My own opinion.

It's was okay but we think they were ripping hits during the show.
Are you serious, because you know I'm gonna listen for the rips.

Right?   Bad MV found something to play worse than a two show heather rerun.  That takes some special talent.

Some guy is ranting politics on LNM right now.   It's horrible.

Someone who knows how should broadcast Dave to the LNM chat.  They are dying for a show.

She's very cheery talking about being a putrid old lady and dead babies...

I hope he has her back before she dies.

The more I think about it, if I were Keith and Dave I would change the name of MITD.

Mostly because who cares what the name of the show is. There is a ton of drama about nonsense. Really who cares what the name of the show is?  The Dark of Night or something.

You bring up a good point.  It's really a branding issue.   I suppose that means something if you're trying to get affiliates.   "We've got Midnight In The Desert!"  Oh yeah,  what's that?   Maybe it would have meant something if Art Bell were doing the show,  but as fate would have it, it wouldn't have been that long anyway.  Who knows who Heather Wade is?  She's a nobody.   Even now,  Good Dave wasn't a key player with Coast.   All these primarily streaming shows are living in the shadow of Coast.  No point.  It's really stupid,  although sometimes entertaining,  all this drama.   MV is clearly thinking of sticking it to Keith,  and Keith is doing the same to Heather.  He could just forget about it, but his perspective has her abandoning her post and running off with his network's premier show.   Just games with no purpose.

Actually Heather has been engaging her fans with very thorough responses up to a day ago...

That's a very complex answer for a very complex problem.

Are we going to get some classic HW this week?  I especially liked the Streiber and David Adair shows.   I hope they get featured.

You can watch the YouTube video with the calls that Art takes for the game.   They are pretry funny,  on a Phil Hendrie kind of level.

I'll be straight up with you,  as you seem to not be.  I don't work for anyone,  but the night that Heather went on LNM, I told her that it would get messy if she takes that name.   I don't think I was wrong.  Do you?

Cool, post or link the documentation/ruling proving Keith/DMDN owns MitD, free and clear. Thanks.

What I do know is there seems to be a dispute over the using the name MitD. Heather isn't on DMDN anymore, and Dave is hosting MitD currently. All the rest is drama, speculation, tribalism, and LuLs.

# DoIt4TheLuLzBB!!

Yeah,  that seems to be the only fact we know.   HW tried to take the show from it's rightful owner,  DMDN.  I warned her about the mess that would come of that,  and got myself banned for truth.   If she had every right to it, then she'd still have it.  All this drama was really caused by a bunch of Heatherettes that can't see a dammed tree through a forest.  The funniest thing in all of this is Vara's trashing of Heather Wade in the beginning. He's sucking up to her just to stick it to Keith.  Does she know she's being used by a loser?

Good idea having multiple guests.  Dave did say he was working through Heaters old commitments.  I could "feel" Dave's voice trying to deal with the Dr and his feeble attempt at science.  When he said "Warp Drive", I did a Bateman and blew my water all over my desk.   Dave seems to be recharged now.   Good thing he didn't get stuck with 2.5 hours of that.

Dr. Paul had me wondering what his own knowledge on the subject was brought to the show.   He is still intelligent,  I just wondered if his education brought anything to the table.

Great,  now MITD is buffering.  Lasha strikes again.   When will they realize that Dave Schrader is actually an awesome radio host?

Because it sucks.

One of the good things about Illinois was that I was priveledged to go to Niles North.  That puts me miles above the average Heatherette.
