What right do you have to any details?

None of us have any right to details....which is why it's odd that he would tell us that he had to lay on the ground, injuring himself in the process, and that his wife and daughter had to sleep on the floor, etc.,  but wouldn't tell us if there were threatening calls, emails etc. 

The idea that there is more going on than we know, as likely as it may be, is also speculation.

Ha!  I'm doing the same thing.  I have a lot of them on my phone, but sporadic (basically, the episodes I didn't get to hear live), so now I'm grabbing all of them.

There's no news stories told when no one wants to talk about it with the news reporters.  Simple as that.

Art has been talking about it, a lot, both on the air and online.  If this is really happening, people in Pahrump should be freaking out.  And if they're freaking out, it's bound to get some coverage in the media there.  Maybe that will start soon--who knows?  But until then, I don't think it's unreasonable to be skeptical of it all.

If he was bullshitting, first, why would he bother to state the police left for the "second time"?

Why would he make up a story about getting texts from his neighbors to alert him about shots being fired near his place?  Why not just say he heard them?

Why mention that one of the neighbors actually "saw a car in the dead end lane"?

And why not just end it all after that event?  Why wait another 2 months to quit over the issue?

I have no idea whether he is "outright lying."  In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if (on some level) he believes these things are happening, even in the (likely, IMO) event that they are not.  But the kinds of details in that post are exactly the kind of things someone would include if they were trying to get people to believe their story.  The inclusion of details does not, in and of itself, prove anything factually.

That's why I'm skeptical as well.  Art is BY FAR the most famous person in Pahrump.  An unidentified stalker firing shots at him in the middle of the night would be major news there.  It's not a secret, as he's reported on it over the air several times.  If anybody else out there believed it was happening, there would be a lot of news reports about it, and likely some mobilization of citizens/law enforcement to catch and stop the perpetrator.

Really?  I just installed beyondpod, and it's behaving exactly like DoggCatcher: loading all the episodes, but not allowing me to download any of them.
