I was always a bit skeptical of Greer. When I hosted my own show 3 or so years ago I always preferred Stephen Bassett. Just more grounded with the whole disclosure stuff. He had nothing to really sell. Greer seems to be whoring a whole lists of products.

Time Traveler and listened today... I'm sorry but something does not add up.

In one segment he is discussing a top secret level engineer abandoning a project after threats to himself, his wife and family. Then, he turns around and says that the people he is associated with have told him that him and his family are safe. So, am I to believe that these well-placed people protecting Greer and his family will not extend the protection to others? Is Greer so important?

Opposite Art and to me it just seems a sad attempt. The name seems a jab at MITD. And does he really think he will compete in the 9 to midnight time slot Monday through Friday? Here is from the site:

Your idea of monotone to me was professional.  Presenting the news while not presenting yourself.  I would not want an actor in that position, or a woman with a higher pitched voice.  Leo's voice and delivery were, to me, just wrong for what he was attempting to do.  I'm glad that he's going over to the dark side.  He probably belongs there. 

Amy deserves a chance.  So far, I really like her.  To me she has talent with that voice.  She's unique.

This was my guess along with a deal to pick up new AM stations but a bit of a ad restructuring or such. OR... SiriusXM made him an offer to carry the show.

I highly doubt retirement, though it worries me.
