No, not at all.  Heather is coming on strong and AB will be back, at least periodically.

We need a a dedicated thread for each MITD show whether Art is the host( as we once had) or Heather is or some else is.

Having  the existing thread as it exists (MITD with Heather Wade) in Other Talk Shows I feel does a disservice to the host (whoever it may be) as well the show itself.

Hopefully this will be taken under consideration.

I think that Heather did a really good job with Tobias. I emailed her and Keith telling them the same thing.  I hope others will also send them encouragement.  We still have a show and as time goes on Heather will get even better.

The archived shows are no longer divided into three segments, instead they are all in one, three hour show.

I don't think I have ever heard more intelligent callers than I heard last night when John Dvorak was the quest.  My vote for the best Art Bell interview ever -bar none.

This fellow is the very best guest so far.  Probably the best of all time if you want to hear the truth.

Since I don't, and I am sure a number of others don't, have the ability to see the periscope views of Art during the show, I wonder if it would be possible for someone to post a few of the pics each night?

Perhaps it could be a thread all its own for each show.

Just an idea-this may not be feasible or easily done-just wondering.

What a great week.  It was stellar in terms of audio quality and the quest line-up was great.  I am surprised the Mishu Kaku was not on but I bet he will be soon. 

Some good ideas last night for future guests.  I think Dan Akroyd would be an exceptional guest.


Anyway, glad it went so well and that Art seems to be having a good time.

I really enjoyed the guest for sure.  I reported in another thread that the archives are working well for me and wanted to repeat that here.

I am very happy to report the archives seem to be working much better this AM.  The pause/play is working ie I can pause and then later play w/o it going back to zero.  All 3 segments are playable unlike before.
As far as downloading -I have not tried yet but at least the download screen comes up after a right click.  I will complete a download later.

Again, I am using Chrome.

How about the rest of you that have been having problems-is it better today?

OK I have tried Firefox as well as Chrome. No worky.  I am taking my computer to someone that is more savvy than I.

I want this to work.

I know many are having the same problem as I but there are many of you having no problems.

They could be, however others  have reported the same problems and I have no problems at all, on other podcasts including other shows on the Dark Matter Digital Network

I have tried all that I know to do.

I was able to listen to HR. 1 and enjoyed Art and LMH.  Also, was glad to see that the paranormal news has been added to the archives.

However, the archives are still broke--hours 2 and 3 would not play and download does not work.

I have not been able to hear all the shows due to archive problems, but I have heard some.  I have to say that the MITD callers are far and away the most intelligent and articulate that I have heard in a long time.  I was really surprised at the difference.

How do you record the live stream onto your computer?

I am close to canceling my sub.  I do not want to but I am not going to pay  money for something that does not work

I wish I knew how to do that. I still have not heard all of the shows and I have spent a lot of time trying to do so.

Why should I pay for something that does not work?

The download does not work.  the pause/play does not work--I am not the only one-I have talked to others w/ the same issues.

I have emailed Keith re. the dysfunctional archives and so far no joy.  This is old tech.-if this does not get fixed, Art needs to get a new webmaster-This archive situation is going to cost Art subscribers and ultimately the show. I am giving it 2 more days then I will bail.

Just finished listening to the test show on the TT archives.  There has to be improvement on the pause/play button controls to make it feasible to listen.  I don't have the same issues listening to other DMDN shows.

The audio was great when the show was streaming but sure a lot of tech. problems--good idea to have a test show.  Sure was great to hear Art again after all this time.

I did not hear any of the commercials or bumper music on the archived show.  I wonder if anyone knows why I did not?

OK I found it on the site.  Besides being in 3 segments the advance buttons do not work correctly ie if you advance the stream it completely quits working even after the buffer catches up it still will not work. If set back to the beginning it still does not work.  I have to completely leave the site and start over.

Hopefully they will get this fixed.
