I am not one of these people, I have nothing to do with anyone, however I see my efforts to help were a miserable failure. By the way, have any of you ever listened to any of Art's early broadcasts? I can't say that they were too polished, there is a learning curve for everyone in whatever kind of job they do, give Heather a break.   

I would like to open up a serious topic; I am an infrequent visitor to BellGab these days, so I may have missed your discussions about Heather Wade and MITD.
I think I speak for most of us here in saying that; we are here because we enjoy the subject matter that used to be C2C with Art and MITD. Well Art’s no longer on MITD we have Heather and she is doing the best she can and will only get better and better as time goes on. On her first night, she was a nervous wreck but has improved 1000 fold from that first week. I’m asking you all to support MITD with a $5.00 a month donation. 5 bucks is no big deal and it would go a long way to keeping this kind of broadcast on air. So all of you that opted out at the start of Heather’s reign, please reinstate your membership. No, I have nothing to do with the show, Heather or evil Keith I just want the show to go on and on and on. Come on guys it’s far better that the alternative.
Now one more thing while I’m at it, it’s OK for you people south of the 49th we are the ones to go first, and in any case as only half a tasty Canadian, I don’t want to be gobbled up first or even second so it will be my pleasure to let y’all go first.

I don't think the jury is still out on Heather, I think she has improved considerably after the first show. She was understandably very nervous on, I think it was a Friday night that she started. Come on guys, Heather is far superior than fumblemouth.

Hi Art, I know you will probably never read this because you get thousands of e-mails, especially now you have decided to hang them up.
I personally would like to thank you for the many hours of entertainment you have given me. Your shows have seen me through a number of issues in my life, but you were always a constant and I knew you would be there at 10:00 and then 9:00 pm. PST.

SredniVashtar was quite right Jaz, I was responding to his comments from an earlier discussion. Perhaps I took things the wrong way, I should have remembered that Ausie bashing/Pome bashing was a very old and respected trade and when done with aplomb and skill can be quite humorous. Hopefully there is never any intention to hurt the reciprocating party. I was going to finish this message with a comment, but I didn't want it to be taken seriously, the comment was :- " Having said that, Ausies are a bunch of wankers anyway." 

As far as I can see, his statement was a harmless response to your previous comments and didn’t warrant the tirade you inflicted upon him. I saw his remark as nothing more than an uneducated comment about something he knew little or nothing about. A true aficionado can appreciate many different sports like cricket, rugby, football or cycling. I personally cannot stand basketball or baseball but it does not stop me from respecting a good play. Let it go the comment was just his opinion.

Hay guys, this is for a little fun, we don't need to slag each other. I actually found the letter very interesting, however, there are one or two small mistakes, but I will have to re-read it to be certain. I didn't hear last night's show therefore I have no idea what Art thinks about the letter or what any of the callers thought. I have downloaded the show and will listen to it when I get the opportunity. Personally, I would like to believe it is true but his ramblings about off-world activities and space exploration bothered me.
