Great show by Knapp as usual. I also hope that Roy Orbison Jr. returns as Knapp's guest.  The second guest was good, once He got comfortable being interviewed. His topic is intriguing, but the constant pauses early on was frustrating.  In comparison, Dave Paulides, when He presents his cases studies on mysterious disappearances, continues to hold my attention - superb storytelling skills.

One of the Grand Canyon stories was particularly compelling The 2 runners who tried a run through the GC with poor planning and too little water. When the male runner collapsed, the female runner, Margaret Bradley, tried to go for help. The man survived, Ms Bradley did not. I had to know more, found a detailed L.A. Times article. Ms. Bradley apparently left the trail, tried to descend to the river, was trapped on a cliff, and succumbed. Full story below.

The show with Bill Scott was one of the most compelling Coast to Coast shows in recent memory.  I was disappointed that Scott had destroyed the tapes of the possessed Roxanne speaking in the Demon voice.  I decided to download and listen to George Knapp's show with Bill Scott, from July 2012. Scott was on for only half the show, so the discussion was a bit more compressed, but still a fine show with Mr. Knapp.

One item of note: In the Knapp show, Bill Scott again admits He destroyed all the Roxanne tapes with the demon voice. He tried to find copies of those tapes with no success.
However, Scott told Knapp that apparently, Roxanne kept repeating this episode with different radio shows, and Scott tried to call in to these other hosts to warn the. In 2012, Scott actually found a clip from one of those shows on the internet!  I don't recall him telling Dave this.  This morning, after hearing this on the Knapp episode, I went to BING, and searched for 'Roxanne Possessed Radio Show'.  Right away, I found the clip on Youtube, one of several with Roxanne. It's from radio host Bob Larson, and it's from 1988!  So, go to the link below if you want to hear a sample of distressed and possessed Roxanne.

P.S. Glad to hear that Roxanne is doing well now, recently married.

Radio and Podcasts / Re: Connie Willis on CTC Friday

This Friday will be Noory Free (also Saturday and Sunday).  Connie Willis will host, taking another look at the Bigfoot 1967 Patterson film - Truth or Hoax?

"Veteran film industry special makeup effects designer Bill Munns joins guest host Connie Willis (email) for a discussion on his analysis of the controversial Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot film. Dubbing the creature, "Patty," Munns addresses the question of whether she was indeed a genuine cryptid, or just a person in a costume."

Major Ed, it appears his new fixation is comet 67-P; according to Hoagie, it's really an ancient space station!!!   Been a long, long time since our esteemed Science Advisor was allowed on the bridge of the CTC Mothership.  I look forward to his scientific explanation of how He came to this conclusion - could use a good laugh. ;D

Yes!  This Sunday, George Knapp hosts David Paulides.  Topic:  More missing persons. Last time Mr. Paulides was on, George Norry was the host. Even the incredible ineptitude of Noory couldn't ruin the show, and I expect Mr. Paulides will expand on the updates he covered with Noory.

Looking forward to it.   :D

Here is the description of Saturday Night's show:

"In separate hours, 4 classic rock musicians, Paul Rodgers of Bad Company & Free, Leslie West of Mountain, Jack Casady of Jefferson Airplane, and Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull will discuss living through the heyday of rock, and what it was like being at the forefront of a musical movement that is still significant today. Hosted by John B. Wells. "

Well, no Alex Jones, Quayle, John Birchers, which is fine. But......no Ted Nugent???

Jethro Tull was a favorite of mine during the 70s - looking forward to Ian Anderson. :)
