Have you ever noticed that when it comes to any UFO related story, the mainstream media breaks it months after the fact. Examples: Phoenix Lights, Chicago O'Hare Saucer, and now the Unidentified Object at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. I mean this happened last summer people. There has been a running website with updates on this for the past 6 months. And it's good to see Coast on top of things, leading the way - breaking news coast members! Anyways enough of that, who do all like in the Super Bowl, Green Bay or Pittsburgh?

People make the argument that normal contrails dissipate in short time and what they see as "chemtrails" linger and then spread out. Seeing this, has not gone unnoticed by me. I spent a lot of time outdoors as a kid (1970's) and was pretty observant. So it got me thinking...and I DO remember seeing contrails in the sky that would hang there for some time. Look at old WW2 photos of Allied bombers on high alttitude missions over Europe and you will see this. There are so many factors like the engine type, attitude, weather conditions etc. that will produce different looking jet contrails. All that said, the contrails today do seem a little heavier. I believe this is do to the many additives/ fuel agents added to the jet fuel now. If you combine that with the fact that commercial air jet traffic has increased x fold over the years, leaving more and more contrails criss-crossing the skies, gets one's attention. Conspiracy or not, the growing number of contrails in our skies does have an effect by blocking sunlight. Look at the study conducted in the US during 9/11, when all air traffic was grounded for 3 days. For those who believe that there is a real effort to reverse global warming by this...well I would like to think we are not so stupid as to play around with something as serious as weather manipulation when the results are so unpredictable, well, unless that was are last option, of course.

I just listened to the replay of the Monday nite show w/ Gregg Braden who presented himself as a geologist - I doubt that. Mr. Braden starts off with climate change, in which George promptly adds his obligatory "well as you know I believe its only a cycle." Anyways, he reveals the latest "inside" scientific findings that George is indeed right. He admits to a global temperture rise and how scientist hurriedly secured an ice-core sample from a certain pristine Antarcitca ice shelf before it melted away. He explained the importance of all the valuable information that scientist could gather from this ice-core, revealing earth's past CO2 levels,temps,ocean levels etc. In fact he likened it to a "great library" that was in jepordy of being lost to current temperture increases, so it was crucial we get a sample now to study before it was too late and lost forever. He states that the deep ice core sample taken consisted of something like 400,000 layers, each representing one year. He goes on that the preliminary findings suggest that earth has gone through the SAME temp cycles dozens of times before as shown in the 400,000 or so layers recorded AND since industrailized man was not around for the other cycles, we could not be to blame. Ok follow me here, if this degree of warming in this short of span takes place every few thousand years or so as he sez, well then HOW ARE THESE 400,000 PRISTINE LAYERS OF ICE STILL INTACT? Wouldn't at the very least these have been compromised as with the information gathered. I mean why only now are they melting away?

The fighter jet scramble was in response to the "Phoenix Lights" episode from 1997...so yeah, like 15 years ago.

Friday nite Coast call-in shows are consistently the worst of the worst in my opinion, so I usually skip out, but I did tune in last Friday to catch George Knapp guest hosting and he was excellent as always. I thougt the NORAD caller was the highlight...sounded pretty credible but did he say F-4s were scrambled to intercept? If so, I'm fairly certain they are not used in the US anymore. Maybe he meant F-14s.
