This whole album is like doing mushrooms on somebody's roof during a meteor shower.

At least 3 more major, major A-listers going down unless their legal teams can quash the stories and buy everyone off.

Give a hint?

Likely to be a huge exposé on Bryan Singer and someone else higher up the food chain.

I feel exactly as you do particularly when I'm agitated and that is pretty often in recent years.  I don't know how I feel about Moore.  I definitely don't think he should be put out to dry over the allegations that have been made  Even if true, it only means he was a lot like other Southern boys.  You establish yourself in a profession and then look for a mate.  Being a rural area, many men in their 30's married a girl in the teens.  In the old days that was largely because people wanted large families so they could take care of a farm.  That mindset continued until recently.  Jerry Lee Lewis married his 14 year old cousin.  Yeah, he was only 18 or 19 but basically the same mindset.

Anyway, Moore does seem to be a bit sanctimonious and it is a turnoff but then again I admired his gumption when he refused to go along with the movement to take away the 10 commandments monument from the Alabama capitol.  He seems to have a strength that is woefully lacking in many politicians especially those in the Republican party.

Certainly not limited to rural areas. Jerry Seinfeld started dating a 17 year-old when he was nearly 40. This is how the media responded:

Steven Tyler legally adopted a 14 year-old.

http://www.feelnumb.com/2011/01/22/steven-tyler-once-had-14-year-old-girlfriend-that-her-parents-signed-over-to-him/

The list goes on and on. These people revere Roman Polanski, a literal child rapist, but Whoopi Goldberg said “it wasn’t rape rape” on that cackling hen show.

These aren’t allegations, these are facts. Media ran cover for them for decades, but suddenly develop a conscience when it’s Roy Moore. Fuck ‘em. It’s not about morality, it’s about a Senate seat.

I know, I know but it seems like every man who has committed a sexual impropriety is being forced out of whatever business they are in.  Sure there are some like Conyers and Weinstein who deserve it but some do not.

I agree in principle but not in practice right now. If the Left wants to crucify Roy Moore over unproven allegations (and to be clear, I’m not a Roy Moore supporter at all, I think the guy is a sanctimonious creep) then the Right needs to apply the same standard to their opponents. For decades we allowed the Left to dictate terms of engagement. Not anymore. Politics is amoral - it’s about how many Rs and how many Ds. They try to take a Senate seat, you better believe we have to gun for one (or more) of theirs. This is warfare, and I do mean that in a literal sense. Ds have also always had the benefit of Media backing, so open warfare on the news-Entertainment complex is past due as well.

Doesn't matter. The Liberals started this game of witch hunt, let them burn their own at the stake.

Cool.  Count me in.

Glad to have you aboard, brig. Here’s a Midnight in the Desert with George Senda thread exclusive: I have it on good authority that he and Kathy DID buy the Prius the other day, and have stories aplenty to share!

Hell, I'd put him above Moore too, who admitted he played the role as satire.

I may have to agree with you, actually.

I don't know what it is about Lazenby.  He seems to get the red headed step child treatment re: his turn as Bond.  Moore, always seemed like a smartass.

Lazenby gets that treatment for 2 reasons.

1. He was the rebound guy after Connery.

It will be an outstanding outing.  Craig may be my favorite Bond.  Connery is iconic, but Craig has that violence that explodes in such a satisfying way.

I like him a lot, but he’s a better actor than the producers allow him to be. Compare him in Layer Cake to him as Bond.

1. Connery
2. Brosnan/Craig tie
3. Moore
4. Lazenby
5. Dalton

Yes I would put Lazenby above Dalton. On Her Majesty’s Secret Service is excellent too.
