Alex, you can't fight the illuminati being so fat! Time for P-90X with George Noory.
He claims he's lost 30 lbs so far and his goal is to lose 60 lbs.

Not sure why Linda Molton Howe had to be co-host on Wednesday night's show.  She consumed too much air time and took the spotlight away from the guests.  I tuned out...

I never could stand listening to Ian. His voice, and his facetious attitude turned me off a long time ago. There's something about this guy that really rubs me the wrong way. Plus, his choice of guests are weird; they're difficult to categorize, but the few times I tuned into C2C when Ian was hosting had me tuning out within minutes - his guests, his topics, and he himself held no allure for me. The man talks over his guests, and, like Georgie Boy, makes the numero uno mistake as a radio interviewer - many times Ian talks much more than the guests do! BIG NO NO!
You summarized my feelings exactly.  Good post.

This year the entire population of North Korea should recieve an Oscar.  Get these people in Hollywood!

Here is the reason for the Academy Award Performance.

Strictly a guess here - I wonder if his being a Canadian has anything to do with preventing his further involvement in C2C.

I don't get the beginning of the video... was she buds with Saddam Hussein and Momar Qdafi?  if she wants to be credible, she should destroy that footage...

I thought Rob did a good job during his last hosting assignment.  He's different than the other hosts and since his appearances are rare, it takes a bit of adjustment.  But, IMO, he was fine.

Yes, count me in as a JBW fan.

On the Fri. Jan 6 show hosted by George Knapp, during open lines he kept saying the lines are full.  Then why play the lengthy Ross Mitchell list of telephone numbers to call in at the top of the hour plus at the bottom of the hour?  This consumes valuable air time that could be devoted to squeezing in another caller or perhaps playing longer bumper music instead.  my 2 cents.

I agree.  It's 6 hours before George's show tonight and the C2C website still says TBA for the description of tonight's show.  I wonder why.

If Andrew's claim of a Facebook relationship with Dames is true, would there be visible history of their communication that could prove the truth?
#162
I'm looking forward to Andrew's return to C2C with his new witness.  It would be great if Knapp hosted the show.  Book Ed Dames too.

My take on Ian's farewell speech is he firmly closed the door so that there won't be future speculation about Ian returning to C2C.  He was making it clear that he was leaving for good. (except the once a month/occasional fill in shows)

But the c2c schedule now shows he is also taking Thu and Fri off next week...
Rob Simone hosts on Thu and George Knapp on Fri next week.
Yes ! I always like more George Knapp shows.
After next Thu and Fri night, we come to the first Sat in January, this would be new Sat host John B. Welles night, yes?  Then, Jan. 8 is 2nd Sunday in Jan., this would be Ian's Sunday night?  Could be 4 nights in a row w/o George Noory if my theory is correct.

He'll be on route to the Hawaii studio that day.

It's also a shame he seems to be stuck most of the time in the UFO ghetto. His non-UFO shows are much better.
How much control do the hosts have in the contents of their shows and who the guests are/what the topics are?  just curious.

Wells returns on the 29th ... with Steve Quayle and his crazy holy wars.
I don't know how this 'mothership' will stay afloat with so much hot air charging it........
Didn't Quayle's wife encounter difficulty trying to get through airport security with a gun a couple of months ago?  I wonder if Steve can comment on that..  Ask him, John B.

The Noory is rubbing off onto Knapp.  On Sunday, he read the name of the recently deceased dictator of North Korea as "Kim Jong the Second."  Twice.

Ha ha ha.
Last night, Knapp manned up for his mistake from last week when he referred to Kim Jong the Second instead of Kim Jong Il.  He called himself a knucklehead for his mistake.   That was funny.  He also went on a good rant for the first few minutes of his show.  It was nice to hear him saying 'Merry Christmas' several times.  Luv you, George.

In that statement however Noory failed to mention he has been taking off a lot of Friday nights this past year, also sneaking out in the last hour of many other Friday night shows.
If you add up all those extra sneaky nights and hours off, it probably adds up to more than that other two weeks of vacation.  8)
Perhaps George's Friday night off is balanced out by his working the first Sunday of the month?  IE one week he works 6 nights, one week he only works 4 nights?
I don't agree with only doing 3 hours live and then playing a rerun on the 4th hour.  do 4 hours live or get someone else who will.

another annoying that caller that has called for over 10 years and way too often is Bill from West Hartford, Conn.
Bill always has to start by saying he is an atheist and amateur astronomer and always calls when Hoagladn is on.
Bill was on again last night.  This guy wore out his welcome long ago.  They shouldn't let him on as much as they do.  Can't believe the first hour guest was giving him credit for following his passion.

Two thumbs up for Ian.   Thanks for the info.
A question about Art Bell while we are on the book promotion topic. When Art used to do the show, did he promote his books?  If so, was it specified what became of the profits?  (Art was before my time)

The Blink 182 dude actually was good.
I found him interesting.  One question I had, can someone please clarify his answer to the questions  'Are you a Mason?' or 'Are you part of the Iluminati?'.  thank you.

I'm grateful that Art started C2C.  I only started listening to C2C in 2008, so by that time Art was only on the show a few times a year.  I haven't had the Art experience of fellow CoastGab members.  But, I remember one show where he spent about the first half hour complaining that his wife's immigration was rejected and asking every listener to write to congress, even Obama, and protest this.  That episode has stuck in my mind when I think about Art.

I think I heard Ian mention that his kids' book proceeds are either entirely going to charity, or at least some percentage.
Out of curiosity, has he stated which charities?

Here's another one who thinks Knapp is attractive and intelligent, plus he's in my age group.  Anyone know if he's taken?  Just kidding.
George mentioned his wife on Sunday night's show.  Something to the effect that she was upset Blink 182 took an extended break and how she felt like it was the Beatles breaking up.

in the last hour of the most recent Ian show when he was taking open lines... just before the bottom of the hour... it sounded like he was pimping a children's book for that last minute Christmas gift.... am I correct about this?  Is this a book he wrote?
Ok, I gave it another listen.  He said words to the effect of 'don't forget my book Jacula the Vampire Dog, a handy great last second gift for the right kid'.  Then, confused about where he was in the show, he said Deus before he caught his mistake.
(he always ends his show with Deus Te Amat but he was still half an hour away from the end).
So my point is Ian is promoting his book, as George Noory is promoting his book, Worker in the Light,  and John B. Welles was promoting his website Caravan to Midnight.  I've seen negative comments about George and John, are there equal feelings about Ian promoting his book and also about making a mistake?

The mention of George taking his year end week of vacation reminds me that he hasn't yet broadcast from his much vaunted studio in Hawaii yet.
If memory serves, it was about January of this year that he started promising that would be happening in about a month.
Theories, anyone?

Strictly a guess here - he wanted to stay on the mainland closer to his father's situation.
