Italy is the reason I will not drive a vehicle whilst vacationing overseas. Traffic signs and lights are just a suggestion over there and not a rule. I was driving the speed limit on the freeway (in the "slower" lane) and the amount of times I was beeped and had high beams flashed at me and shouted at as I was over taken was too numerous to count. Also if I stopped for more than a second at a stop sign I was beeped regardless of whether it was safe for me to go. I really lost my nerve and now I have a nervous tick as a result.

It is definitely him on Facebook and unless that account has been hacked then the twitter account is legit too.
