I though you are married and a good Christian.

Yes, that is true but sometimes I like to role-play.  Seriously, I've never cheated not even on the web.  There isn't a law against flirting every now and then though, is there?  Or must we have no fun?

Wow, can I observe one of your ceremonies?  And if there is sex involved, I'm game.

Conservatives have achieved nothing in the last 100 years. The whole GOP is nothing but a dysfunctional brake on the Democrats party's Liberalism. And if Trump doesn't get elected this term, you can kiss the GOP good bye anyway.

You dont understand the US party system.
The whole point of it is:
DEM - enforce and push Liberalism for the Jews
GOP - enforce foreign policy for Israel

if Trump doesn't win, the globalists (including Cruz) will turn the US into Mexico II

So you are an anti-Semite.  Wonderful.  :-\  The GOP existed long before Israel.  What a twisted view you have, Lena.  Oh and by the way,  you know nothing about conservatives or the party system for that matter.  We did well with Reagan and its a damn shame Goldwater never got elected.

Oh, forget his future use. He's done all that, built that empire already. This job is the ultimate opportunity to do what he loves to do, to get what satisfies him. He will make this the ride of his life -- and what a way to write his legacy for the history books, as the most powerful man in the world. A modern-day Caesar in a White House that will shortly look like a gaudy Caesar's Palace casino.

I wonder who will be his Brutus.  I'm making terrible fun of the man and the sad part of it is, I may have to vote for him in November.

Wretched, wretched will be the day
when I cast a vote in such an ignominious way.

Oh puleaze.  I can't stand her.  My Dad used to buy all her books and I just don't understand her appeal.  She claims to be conservative and then supports people like Chris Christie and now Trump.

If I was making a movie about a nasty witch, I'd cast her in the lead.

It is funny... Part of me is joking... Part of me is not.  It would be the most open and honest appointment of a non-elected official in a very long time.  People would get to see the persons strengths and flaws.  Perhaps combining the apprentice with American Idol where the unwashed masses call in and pay their $.50 per vote until it gets down to the last three (out of which the donald would appoint his running mate.)  They can either donate that $.50 to a veterans charity or pay off the national debt, depending on what will be the most popular and win him the most votes.

It would also get people to feel like they have some stake in the voting process and would probably bring tons of "non voters" out on election day to get "their" VP elected.

On one hand, I think it would turn the whole political process into a joke and a circus.  On the other hand- it is already both those things, and more.

Basically that is what the people want. I guess that is what we deserve. Bread and Circuses.  Goodbye, George Washington.

From a political perspective, Tim Scott might be the best possible choice as Trump's VP.  But Scott is endorsing Rubio, so that might eliminate him from consideration.

I don't think there is too much bad blood between Rubio and Trump though that might change very quickly.

Instead of "your fired" he can demote them to secretary of state and other "lesser" positions as the show progresses.

Trump has latched onto the anger that's always out there, especially at election time. He's happily fanning the flames because it helps him. He doesn't have to explain anything. He just attacks. Then, he packages everything under a positive-sounding "Make America Great Again" umbrella and adds a lot of glitz. He's a master at this con game and he's got many people hypnotized. You don't sound like you're under his spell yet. You're still thinking and considering.

I'm a moderate too but I don't think that's any protection against what he's selling. And if you look at this from a marketing point of view, he only has to make the sale once. Once he's in the Oval Office, the con is over and he's won. He won't need to worry about getting repeat buyers, like any marketer does.

Well, he can get get re-elected and I assume he would like 8 years rather than 4.  I'm also angry and while I enjoyed the chaos that Trump created initially, it has worn thin and I really can't imagine living under such an egotistical jerk who will bluster and make threats continuously against his perceived enemies.  Though his wife and Ivanka would make an easy-on-the-eyes first family.

What I am wondering is who is Trump going to pick as VP?  I really can't see him picking anybody in the current field maybe Rubio has an outside chance but I think he might pick someone from the South just to solidify his support in that part of the country.  Someone with experience that can bridge the gap with Congress like maybe,  I don't know, Trent Lott.  Or maybe he will really go outside the box and pick a liberal.

Marco is not seen as much as a political insider as Bush. Marco also will benefit from Bush no longer running millions of dollars worth of attack ads driving Marcos unlikeable rating up. Marco with some money could be a dangerous canidate.

I like Marco's passion but I doubt his sincerity on the immigration issue.

If I was Trump I'd be concerned about all the money Rubio is going to spend. Marco is much more likeable than Bush. With all that money he is a real threat to Trump. Rubio will massively out spend Trump in all the remaining states.

Kasich and Carson need to drop out or it is doubtful Rubio will have much of a chance.  Cruz isn't dropping out anytime soon and I do not see many supporters deserting him at this point.  Trump's path is pretty clear unless Kasich and Carson drop out.  Kasich has a real chance of becoming a VP pick for either Cruz or Rubio because Ohio is so critical but he has to bow out now or the chance will fade.  Trump doesn't need him. However, if Kasich lets his ego get in the way, he will never have another good chance of becoming President.  He needs to bow out in the next week as does Carson.

Positive. Ted Cruz is a lying, scheming classic conservative who will say anything, to anyone, at anytime to further the agenda of the wealthy.

In fact he is the George Noory of the GOP!  (George Noory sucks.  Ted Cruz sucks. Krypton sucks.)

No, I never took the test. I did have a 4.0 GPA average in college though.  Business degree with a focus on economics, marketing and computer science.

in that case, i guess my question to the cruz campaign would be, "so what if they did?"

by pulling the ad, cruz squandered a major opportunity to beat trump at his own game.  he should have refused to pull the ad and defended the woman.  this would have shown cruz to be a little more interesting than the greasy two dimensional ned flanders moralist revival creep we otherwise believe him to be, inviting lots of trump supporters to give him a second look.  instead, he's chosen to project the message that a woman who pretends to fuck on film can't possibly have a reason to support him.  this says a whole lot more about cruz than it says about the woman.  if cruz had chosen to defend the ad and the woman, it could have changed the dynamic of the race for him as it relates to trump.  instead of being the thin lipped moralist, he would have seemed like a forgiving and inviting realist who understands the imperfection of people, hopes they change, but doesn't judge them.  cruz only wants to appeal to a tiny portion of the electorate, apparently, and that's fine, but it won't win national elections in 2016, a time when most americans are busy stressing over jobs, illegal immigration, and finding porn sites without malware.

I completely agree with you about this.  Cruz is not going to expand his base with shit like this. So what if she makes Skinemax soft-core porn?  I mean I bet Ted probably would have watched all of her flicks if they had come out in the late 80's.  Hell, he would have liked to produce them and I'm sure act in some scenes.

I'm speaking ill of Cruz but he really irritates me sometimes with the sanctimonious crap.  That said, I'm still a supporter.  No one is perfect.

And I think that'll be a constant issue. Trump is not doing a Trump character, this is the real guy, and I don't expect him to change once he's in office.

I love the fact that Cruz is always chiding McConnell and some other senators.

I do understand where you're coming from.  Personally I wish Cruz would temper the religious talk and talk more about constitutional principles.  That is his selling point to me.  I will vote for Trump if he is the nominee but I have no idea what is going to happen when he has his first Trumper tantrum with a foreign country.

Cruz's appeal goes beyond evangelicals.  He is also appealing to constitutional conservatives.  He took a powder yesterday.  I didn't count on Trump getting much of the evangelical vote but he did.  Kasich and Carson need to drop out or it is almost certain that Trump will be the nominee.  I agree with Bateman that Rubio's support is shallow and his shenanigans on the gang of 8 bill will be exposed by Trump.  There are only 9 days until Super Tuesday.

As for longer lives, I wonder what would happen to programs like Social Security.  Me, I'd like to live a healthy 300 years and then move on.  Also, long lives for ordinary folk presents a looming problem, overpopulation.  Elites won't like it either.

I've always said that I have my doubts about Cruz winning a general election.  He's too polarizing. You either like him or hate him.  He needs to change his image if he really wants to win the general election and I really don't think that is possible.  Still, I'm going to vote my conscience in the primary.

Because there isn't an electoral college involved. Look at the last few GE election maps:

2004.

2008

2012

The GOP cannot win without Ohio and Florida and it appears the GOP has permanently lost them. That trend could well elect Bernie Sanders without having the popular vote if his ground staff are good enough at organizing.

I just don't trust the guy. I like his record, but not his tactics, and I'm worried that he's been bought by the establishment. The establishment does not have a good track record for justices, at least since Clarence Thomas's appointment. We have Obamacare because of a justice that was sold to us as a solid conservative.

Oh, I agree with you about Cruz's tactics but I seriously don't think he can be bought however I have been wrong in the past. Rarely though!  ;D Let me put it this way, I think the other nominees are more likely to be bought even Trump especially on certain issues.

I agree that the GOP needs to win Ohio and Florida and I still think it is possible.  There is only 1 county in Ohio that is overwhelmingly Democratic and that is Cuyahoga.  Florida is more iffy but possible and maybe the GOP can cobble together some more states in the Midwest and Colorado or New Mexico.

Yes, but he can't win the general election. As Mitt Romney showed, the electoral college map is not in favor of the Republicans anymore. There is no longer a clear path to winning the college with places like Florida becoming swing states.

If that is true then how did the Republicans sweep into Congress during the 2010 and 2014 elections?  Their majority is fairly substantial now.

I'm sticking with Cruz.  The Supreme Court is what is on the table now and I want a conservative President in charge of appointing nominees.  Hillary's campaign is falling apart.  I don't think a majority of Americans are going to vote for an avowed Socialist like Sanders.
