Here's a short list of terms no one should ever dare to use, courtesy of the ABC.
Terms such as 'Karen':
Quote"Karen" is a term used by millennials in reference to a woman who likes to complain â€" calling the police on her neighbours, snitching on naughty classmates at school, asking to see the manager.

There are all sorts of sexist connotations, as Julia Baird, Hadley Freeman and Julie Bindel pointed out in recent columns. There are also undertones of sneering at a middle-class woman who dares to use her voice

If you knew the origin of these common slang words, you might think twice about using them

Fuck'em.  I'll use any words I want.  I don't recognize the self-appointed word police.

"you might think twice about using them" = censorship

4th of July events are also being cancelled all over the place due to 'budgetary concerns' but also like Corona-Chan fears and because it is not right to celebrate the sexist, evil, racist, capitalist country.

I hope they burn the film stock and all copies. TCM should also be shut down and banned.  Libraries, of course, should have the book removed from the shelves and burnt.

Luckily instead of decent movies we can all watch https://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/81299227?so=su

"Gorsuch explained, if Congress establishes a broad rule without any exceptions, “courts apply the broad rule.”
Once again, regardless of your opinion with regard to an employer's right to hire/fire or views on BLTQs, you see the Court making law even from the so-called "conservative" Justices.  Of course like in many past cases this is a result of Congress not wanting to take on "controversial" subjects and both the Legislative and the Executive often like to punt and let the Court move the agenda and/or take the heat.  And, as racist, evil Jefferson mentioned, the Court like any entity seems to enjoy aggrandizing their power, jurisdiction, and scope and is hardly democratic.

And refused to hear the case against Sanctuary city. So "States Rights" are ok- but only when it comes to illegals. Not for police, BLTQs laws, public schools, abortion, labor law, gun laws,or anything else. But for illegals- of course "States' Rights!"

Ha, somehow considering the subject that phrase seems like some possible innuendo.

I was waiting for more outrage that 'conservative' Gorsuch- obviously an evil person because he is male and worse a white one- would be criticized for using the term "broad" when discussing this expanded, rewritten Title VII opinion!  ;)

I think it is very telling that they had Gorsuch write the majority opinion and not one of the libs who were probably slobbering all over the prospect of erecting a landmark in this area.

There is a lot of horse-trading there. I suspect the so-called minority now, will write some opinion on some other pet issue for the so-called 'Conservatives.'  Because they all agree with, some exceptions over the years but very few, that aggrandizing Court power and expanding jurisdiction is the main goal. Was always this from the beginning. People complain about the 'politicization' of the Court but really the politics are cast aside when it comes to their sole purpose.

Good grief the Supreme Court has been activist in the civil rights area since the 50s at some point you just shut up and take your medicine.

White guy still has job! Even after the white male Quaker, who even worse is Christian, fired the black Aunt Jemima!

I’m surprised Uncle Ben’s perverted rice made it this long. Especially after Land o Lakes Indian  Native American First Nations Indigenous Persons Maiden was removed from their branding.

Are we still allowed to use “maiden”?

Yeah- I'm thinking they're working out a better deal. Stay tuned to see who comes out on top.

The sad part is that these perpetually offended and idiotic people are erasing the history of a remarkable black woman who rose from slavery to become the first African American hired to promote a product.
