You just can't make this stuff up.

Hi Ciardelo....yep, the chat can be distracting, can't it? For tonight, we will be using both the irc chat room AND this forum...and see how that goes. I am open to whatever the folks want....so, will adjust as time goes on. Thanks for letting me know your preferences.

By the way, I checked out that 'Bandcamp' site you mentioned. Pretty cool. Do they have a free music section? Couldn't find one.
All are certainly free to listen to on the site there I believe.. I suppose you probably need free downloadable music huh.

At the risk of distracting you on your big debut day I often listen to Ryno the Bearded's stream for background and sometimes not so background music. All of his music choices are released on a cc-by license. So it's free to use and download. You can follow the links or do searches on the tracks which will lead to a wide circle of cc-by license sites which leads to even more music. It quickly turns into a little of a rabbit warren.

Ryno kind of specializes in new releases but there are scads of great music out there. http://rynothebearded.com/

Looking forward to it.  Are people going to be in chat room or here? My vote is here. Will have more the feel of just continuing where we left off imo chat rooms can get a little chaotic but I will go with the flow
I'm new here on bellgab but not new to long-form talk radio and I find the chat rooms to be distracting.

I don't know how your chats run but if they're busy I'll start reading some sort of discourse in chat and lose track of the show I'm supposed to be listening to. I'm a huge fan of the noagenda show but I usually stay out of the live chat because I can't read and listen at the same time. If there is a chat I'm going to try to be there just to check it out but my newbie vote is commenting in the forum please.

Sorry about that, I seem to be the only Larry posting, so the initials are irrelevant here. I'll refrain in future.
Thanks! I'll be checking out the youtube postings. I always liked JBW on C2C. I recently signed up here on bellgab--i basically just marked everything read and am starting with new posts to make it manageable so it was your post that alerted me to the show--thanks for that too!

I wish the hell some other caravaners would post here. I know you guys are out there. I'm shooting for two pages, even if it's only me and EODR.
It's kinda irritating to have to scroll. Why are you discouraging people's enjoyment of the page when you want more posters?

Nope....I am going to do both of them. I am kind of looking at it this way....on The Outsider I wear my 'white hat' and on 'Blue Moon at Midnight I get to wear my 'black hat'. lol

But no.....both show will run, The Outsider at 7pm as usual and then the after MITD show, Blue Moon at Midnight, will run at 12am midnight.
Great! I'm looking forward to it!

I agree...on Bill Maher he was just an arrogant ass..."The smartest guy in the room" type of person... ::)
Smarter than Bill Maher? That must be pretty smart.

Yes...I will post the latest five shows on the archive page like I do with The Outsider. For now, anyway....at some point I may need to design a second page just for Blue Moon at Midnight, but for now I will post them here:

And, of course, you listen to the show on the LIVE STREAM here:

Maybe I'm a little slow but we're losing "The Outsider" and now getting the new show? Right?

So I don't know if anyone else caught this... I didn't go back through the thread. Listening to the archive right after 40:00, the good Dr. Says the entity followed the woman to her new residence, and he knew because she kept texting him updates.  He tagged back up with her in 83 and she was no longer bothered...

So what type of device was this woman using to text prior to 1983 since there weren't cell phones or Internet or email?

Maybe she was using PROFS.
You didn't read his book did you?

/good catch

Hi Sis. I believe Rose will be on same time as RCH. Not to compete but to give an alternative for us who can't abide him anymore
"can't abide him" nice!

Well....thank you, Ciardelo. I do so enjoy the music as well. Sound poetry, pure and simple. Have a look at noisetrade.com for some of the titles played on the show. There's so much there to enjoy! And I think the indie artists are just so good.
Me too! I guess I've been doing it wrong because I've looked up some artists on Amazon and used the digital buying service. There's lots of choice at noisetrade I've also perused bandcamp for music but I like "curated" playlists mostly because I can't decide what I should be listening to. lol We're fortunate to have a local "college radio" station but even then I can't listen to it all the time.

so..binging on X-files..and low and behold..Tony Shalhoub...is there anything this guy hasnt been in lol
Monk is in my personal Top 10 TV shows list. Don't even get me started on Natalie vs. Sharona.

Hi RoseGirl, I've just recently found your podcast and I find it very relaxing. Your music choices are exquisitely apt. And I'll include my vote for the whole songs too. You put it very well comparing/making it equal/on a par with poetry. Thanks too for posting the Bumper Music list. I've bought some albums based on the samples I've heard on your show.

Ooh thanks I think I found it.  The preservation of prehistory in myths is a particular interest of mine.
There are some interviews linked of off Jack Churchward's home page.  I plan on listening to them because I like the subject matter too. Just from my brief listening though, Churchward isn't very energetic as an interviewee. http://jack.churchward.com/

I don't think all the blame for the clunker interview can be laid at Hoagie's feet. I'm listening to a Jack Churchward interview that Swagger did and Churchward runs out of gas in that interview too. Long pauses, inexplicable voice trailing off...Jack Churchward has a hard time being an interesting interviewee.

/You may continue the Hoaxland bashing now.

Hi !  I just logged on to see if last night's show was worth listening to (trust the BellGabbers!).  You posted at the VERY end!!  I hope you went over to the Hoagland Live Thread and listened to his show after this.  If not, come back again for Open Lines!!
Thank you! I did and will.

Hiyas Bellgab. My first post. yay. I've been looking around and everybody is calling this drawing a "picture" of the Phoenix lights. It doesn't look like a "photo" at all to me.  It looks more like a drawing to me.
