There are several reasons that asking for proof in the form of the police report is just lousy thinking at best, but really defies common sense.
Falkie is a newsman. Facts are his trade. He always must be a man of his word. Just look at what happened to Brian Williams. Nobody would be obtuse enough to put a growing news media empire at risk for a few hundred bucks of grifting. Not even a sure few hundred bucks, just a shot at it.
Also, there is no way Falkie could have the time to do needless follow up just to "show you the money." He's a busy man. Just the research time alone on his videos must keep him endlessly engaged. Just look at his video list and the stories that he has vetted and broke. He obviously has an inside man in the Trump camp because of the propensity of Trump videos and information.  But there was also everything from Milo to celebrity deaths to terrorist attacks to UFOs to entertainment news to Patty's legal driving status. The man has his feelers out in every direction imaginable.

I spoke to a person in the department as well. None of them would say it did not happen but they did not try to hide things either.
But they said if what I described happened, a grab and run of $500 with witnesses and Police involvement, they are sure they would have heard about it.
