I just realized I'm posting in the Falkie thread.  I told him in July of 2015 I would no longer post.  But I did after that...and then today.  I spoke of the fat pack above an overweight man's penis.  I've forgotten a lot.

Dude before today my only post on this thread was to say that falkie is a human cancer lol

Yea you were still a wade cuck back then lol but he raged  after heathers sex work posts got reposted on bellgab.

Oh, right. He was kind of getting all white knighty about it. The ED (empress dude) really lit into him about all his hooker blowjob stories. ED wouldn't let go of it though lol. Fun tymes.

Lol if empress is a dude then you're actually Michael Westen. But yea i think barfly posted that over all he wasn't liking the direction bellgab was going towards. Since i remember he was calling all of us assholes for not backing Art and Heather lol

Shouldn't you be boring people with your encyclopedic knowledge of the minutia of planes in the Warbirds thread? I understand the queen is still very sick too. Perhaps a good fluffing is in order, my good man!  :D

This looks cool.  Am I to take it that it kind of works like a fixed board game, where you figure out how to place your units etc. for battle but you're not really building an ever-expanding empire which usually requires mega-management skills which I lack?   :D

pretty much, its a good mindless time killer

Is there a way to run an emulator on your pc, then pipe it to your tv, whilst using a real controller?  I want the old-school vibe yo.  ;)

better!  i'll check that out

turn-based ... something where you have to think, and plan ... but doesn't escalate in management complexity due to shear number of colonies/planets/ships/armies/etc.  So like chess ... it takes alot of strategy, but it basically stays at the same complexity level throughout - e.g. you don't have to deal with like 20 chessboards mid-game.   ;)

ive been playing this one alot lately, http://store.steampowered.com/app/312450/

Two unrelated questions for the game-heads here.

1) Thought it would be fun to maybe get an old SNES system to play/replay some classics.  Then checked on ebay for Super Metroid and they're all like wtf a hundred bucks?  Is this for real?  Is there somewhere to get old cartridges for cheap?  (I know I know I can play w/ emulators on a pc, but idk it just doesn't feel the same.)

2) I wanna try strategy games again.  See the prob is, they always start out fun, but mid-game they get to be a management drag.  I've tried Civ 3 & 4, MOO 1 & 2, and a few others and always the same complexity moment happens where there's just too many damn colonies to deal with etc so I just let them all collapse on themselves.  So is there a game which is challenging but does not escalate geometrically as you build an unmanageable 'empire'?

the local game shops have them for cheaper in the 40 dollar range here locally. and what kind of strategy game are you looking for?

You're really ignoring a big chunk of their history in trying to demonize them. After Stalin died they intentionally let the world know that they were going through a period of deStalinization. They wanted to distance themselves from that era to let us know that they thought it was pretty horrible too and were at least making an attempt at appeasing the West without entirely abandoning their ideology but eventually, by the 80s, they were willing to do even that. They just didn't want to become victim to the same kind of predatory capitalism of globalism that they saw was even starting to fuck with our way of life. I'm glad were now joining them in that awareness. I think it will only make both our countries stronger in the long run.

again learn to read, im talking about Putin, not the general Russian population.

He doesn't, of course. But it's time to cool down the tensions and refocus. That said, it's rather sad to see a US president trying to poison what relations we had left with Russia just to fuck over the president-elect. Add that with the 3500 new regulations today, the finger Kerry gave to Israel, and it's just become ridiculous. Pud likes to paint Trump as dumb or whatever, but that's just rhetorical media crap he's parroting. The real atrocity here is the unethical and irresponsible behavior the Obama administration has displayed after the election. They're acting like children at this point.

i agree with what your saying, my only issue is that a lot of people paint Putin as a saint or some sort of American savior. and i really do hope that Trump is just stringing Putin along, not actually believing that Putin is his friend etc

Yes, we're all getting back to the reality that countries hold their own interests as primary. I guess in your mind that makes them all evil because they're not acting like a subsidiary of the US or EU?

our American interests should always be first, fuck the rest of the planet.

Ok, American pud, have it your way...though that way seems to be making our country and the world a lot worse...that's why we voted against it this election. If people really wanted war with Russia they would've voted for Hillary.  ;)

no i don't think we should have war with Russia, but i also dont think that we as Americans can be naive to think that Putin holds our best interests in mind.
