I wept gently at this man's artistic talent.

I believe you. I found it by punching in "Discordian" and "Love" and he popped right up! I am about ready to be the captain of his fan club!

Wait, wait, never mind--the Fentanyl is wearing off. Moving on.

QuoteI didn't make it through this one. Too many Europeans.

I am calling shenanigans, as I posted it less than twenty minutes ago, and the clip is two hours + long.

Are you claiming you've never heard of it before? Get to work, Goldilocks--this one is just right.

Quotego find some French asshole to blabber incoherently and highly indirectly

I will be honest--I am a big fan of French kissing. Also, French fries, French fucking, French dressing, the French Free Air Force, and, frankly, as many French assholes as I can get my tongue up on.

What... just me? POMMES FRITES, BITCHES

Meh, the moment has passed. He sucks.

I'll have you KNOW that I watched at the very least 40 seconds of that video. Then that French asshole showed up and I moved to watching star-trek themed porno. Sue me. Next time give me something more interesting to digest if you want me to bite.

Fun fact: the day that video premiered, was the day Gabrielle Giffords got shot through the back of the head.

Comments? YEAH, THAT IS WHAT I THOUGHT.

On a serious note, isn't it interesting that we place high value on Giffords getting shot despite the fact that entering politics pretty much guarantees that you're fully willing to be crooked and sleazy to make a buck from it, yet the gas station attendants that routinely get shot for accepting a dangerous job at low pay just to survive are treated as anonymous riff raff?

I just bet the Western Empire placed a high value on her getting shot--even if it hadn't been at such a convenient time. It sure sent NASA a message, didn't it?

Anyway, I gave them a Beta VCR from 1985 and they were too preoccupied with blessing it to notice my escape with their DDT allotment. I figured fuck 'em, that shit was worth like 60 bucks in Nigeria. They'll deal with it. Suckers.

Hehe. I think the Beta VCR might be worth $80 over on ebay.

but either way, you're a fucking imbecile. Thanks for the belly laughs, you corporate shemp.

Also, MV? Would you please merge both MH370 thread together? As you will... but frankly when I tell people that they are cunts, I expect them to all stay in the same cunty-arranged cunt-space.

Just me? Okay, fine.

No, you claimed to not know who specifically who was being affected by these crimes, so I gave you a specific example. I have more. And no, I don't think Clinton knew and in fact he ultimately cut the payments off. I think he simply appointed the best most qualified liberals to run USAID, and like all leftwing academics these days, they were vehemently environmentalist, anti-humanist, and felt population control was needed in Peru.

No, I think you're shitting on hundreds of thousands of women who were deceived into sterilization just to try to make a political point against me in a thread. Nice. That said, I don't know why the investigation stopped. It could be that Fujimori didn't know, though I am skeptical since he was the same guy that authorized the death squads. Or it could be that Peru is corrupt as shit and someone got paid off. Or they burned the evidence.  But the fact remains that USAID knew enough to tell congress that Peru's practices had changed and everything was all right when it wasn't.

Oh I have more, forced sterilizations weren't unique to Peru.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compulsory_sterilization

All of it driven by radical environmentalists, eugenicists and leftwing anti-humanists that think we're overpopulated.

No, it's a reflection of a whole lot of reading. I highly recommend being informed, especially about your own ideology and how it affects the world. When you say "Save the Earth!" someone at the UN responds by tricking a third worlder into getting sterilized or gives the finger to some African dying of Malaria.
I thought long and hard about my response before making it.  Then I realized why it seemed so off:
1) I had accepted your premise that all of these women were somehow "tricked" or "deceived".  I tend to give women the benefit of the doubt and not believe they are harmless daffodils easily fooled by the inscrutable Fujimori. So, I wondered further and read further and
2) It turns out Fujimori had two very powerful enemies he had opposed to grant women rights to their own bodies:
The Catholic Church and Opus Dei.  Gee, I wonder how many Opus Dei fanatics went into villages after women had their tubes tied and called them whores and said they were the concubines of Satan and were slated for damnation.
3) Marco Guzman, a prosecutor who represented the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) and had jurisdiction on this case made a decision that there was but one case of human rights violation and four doctors had already been charged with the offense.
So, why did it seem so off?  Because you presumed there was no choice.  Because you presumed the women involved were incapable of making a choice.  Because you didn't factor in the immense influence of the Church and their vehement opposition to any form of birth control. So, as to your charge I am "shitting on hundreds of thousands of women to make a political point" I respond with "spare me your sanctimony."

If any women were mutilated against their wills, if any women were sterilized without their consent, then the guilty parties should be brought to justice. But let's not presume they all were, nor let us not presume that there aren't other factors at work here.

God.  Endless presumption on your part.  News flash, that's why we're trying to "get the guns" so the store attendants and the citizenry at large aren't subjected to a life of constant firearm fear!
But (and now I 'm presuming) you would oppose any move to curtail the infestation of side arms in this country so, who really feels that the station attendant is "riff raff"?

Pull down your pants--you're next. No need to consent--all we have to do is pretend you are less than a week old, and, bickety-bam, there's a little dab more medical waste introduced into the world.

Surely, you've heard the recent "revelations" about human fetal tissue being used to power incinerators used for heat and electricity? What do you think they have been doing with the ends of cocks for AT LEAST TWO THOUSAND YEARS?

Think about it. Over time, that is a whole lot of Beluga caviar.

I wonder how it will effect inflation, welfare, employment, and health care?

No, you're trying to create a law that wont work so you can feel good about yourself. That would be the only effect other than tossing grandpa in prison when the cops find his trusty old .38 in the nightstand. It won't stop the criminals. There are simply too many guns and too many people willing to hide them in this country for any law to be effective. And if you think it's bad now, wait until 3D printing technology becomes cheap and widely distributed:

http://www.npr.org/blogs/alltechconsidered/2013/11/14/245078880/plastic-guns-made-with-3-d-printers-pose-new-security-concerns

The days of viable gun laws are over for the world. The focus will need to be on security and detection of guns where they aren't supposed to be.

They were tricked, they're filing lawsuits in Peru over it:

http://www.ipsnews.net/2010/10/peru-women-sterilised-against-their-will-seek-justice-again/

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/sterilisation-perus-darkest-secret-6273734.html

And it's not just Peru, it was a worldwide eugenic phenomenon. Read the Wikipedia article on compulsory sterilization and you'll find it happened all over the place. Those same organizations, USAID, UNFPA, WHO and even the World Bank pop up repeatedly. The ideas of liberal luminaries like Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, and Paul Ehrlich pop up. So like I said, whenever you yell "save the planet" realize that someone has to do the dirty work of saving it and what they're doing isn't very nice.

I'd ask why they were out to tie hundreds of thousands of poor native people's tubes in the first place. I guess they weren't genetically up to snuff for the tastes of those with Spanish origins.

Quote
3) Marco Guzman, a prosecutor who represented the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) and had jurisdiction on this case made a decision that there was but one case of human rights violation and four doctors had already been charged with the offense.

Good, it seems more need to be charged and we need to be asking our government and the UN why they were funding sterilization programs in the first place.

You're really on the wrong side of history on this one and you really need to read deeper into this matter and go further and see what was done worldwide. It's not going to go away, and once your side widely learns about it and flip flops you're going to feel like a complete ass. Don't take that position until you've read what these women are saying.

Quote

It doesn't matter. They should have never been internationally funded sterilization programs in the first place. The world is not over populated, it's sustaining us just fine. It's well known that as affluence rises, which it's doing globally, birth rates naturally drop like they did here and in Europe. It was a drastic eugenic solution to a problem that didn't exist done in the name of sustainability.

SciFiAuthor

Come on Nowhere. Let's make a deal with this one. I clearly have you researching and reading, so let's go full on with this one and drop the political pretenses. I am entirely ready to admit I'm wrong if you can demonstrate that I am--I hope I am wrong--but I want you to do the same if I turn out right. I don't think I am though, the more I dig into the sterilization programs to combat population expansion, the more disturbed I get. Let's do a first: an internet debate that ends in a consensus. When we're done someone will be right and someone will be wrong and whomever is wrong will openly and publically alter their beliefs. I'm totally up for it.

But I'll warn ahead to think about this one carefully before accepting. A woman's right to choose hinges on her ability to have children. She can't very well choose if she can't have a kid in the first place. Right? The idea of coercive or compulsory sterilization defeats that, putting you on very shaky ground ideologically and it should make you question the policy if your principles are to be believed. So let's dig in and do a full mutual analysis on this one from top to bottom. If I'm wrong, I'm an idiot that fell for the wrong books. But I don't think I am. If you're wrong, however, then you need to be asking the Democrats and Environmentalists what the holy fuck they've been doing in your name and why.

I'm absolutely willing to provide my source material in detail, though I ask in return that you to read it. Deal?

So if NiT is wrong, he must question everything about Democratic/environmental policy and philosophy, yes?  However, if you are wrong, SciFi, you simply will admit it in regards to this one issue.  You won't question every conservative policy/philosophy.  Yeah, that sounds totally fair... Pretty much.  Kind of...  In a way....

Do you have any idea how condescending and pretentious you sound on a routine basis here?  You're an articulate man; I have enjoyed a lot of your posts.  But your need to be right is a bit Sardondi-like.  Maybe some people feel the same about NiT or Paperboy or Yorkie or, hell, me.  Well, I have had my say and once again am sounding the refrain of moderation.  I must be a dying breed.  Fuck it.

I'll question any conservative policy. Before we start, I'll state where I believe the conservatives at large are categorically wrong. They're wrong on gay marriage. They're wrong on marijuana legalization. They were wrong on the Iraq war. They were wrong in the intelligent design debate. They're wrong in opposing making contraceptives available in schools. They're wrong on international free trade. They're wrong on that rancher asshole in Nevada. I'd be happy to go through any libertarian or conservative policy point by point and we can figure out if it's logically wrong or right. The liberals don't seem open to doing the same.

I do it on purpose. Look, go back and see how I post. I start pedantic and thoughtful but it takes all of one or two replies for Nowhere, Onan and the rest to go ape shit with ad hominem attacks. So I respond with as condescending and pretentious of a response that I can. It seems to be the only thing that gets through. If you've got another idea on tactics, I'd be happy to hear it. All I ask is that it be effective.
