We can all grow and fine tune
Then how come you've never attempted to do that in the entire time you've been on C2C?

We can all grow and fine tune
Quote from: Paper*Boy on November 10, 2013, 08:00:49 PMThis was cracking me up during the "show", I don't even have a landline and neither does any one of my friends. Art needed to realize that not everyone was living in 1990.
When claiming to be a call in show in the year 2013, be sure to routinely complain about callers that use cell phones.

Bullshit.
Fool me once....

Art wants to return to the Phillipines IMHO. He's afraid of the Fukushima radiation that's descending on the west coast of this country, and not without reason. He's worried that Airyn eats a lot of fish. He's also afraid of the US economy, and feels his money would be far safer in the PI. Don't forget that he was already ready to move back if the US government defaulted on their debts. He said he'd called his banker about converting his "sheckels" to pesos. I've sensed real fear in his voice on both those issues.
I don't believe for one minute that he's leaving Sirius because they're not providing listeners with sterling reception. Art talks in deliberate riddles, and as someone said recently, he's the supreme puppet-master. I feel like I've been kicked in the gut, and I'm a fool if I don't just get over it soon. Art Bell will be 70 years old in 2 years, and he's already lost any drive he ever had, and his memory is suffering. By then, he may be just one more doddering old fool.
I could be wrong. We'll see.
Quote from: RealCool Daddio on November 04, 2013, 11:25:12 PMArt Bell can post his apologies to my manhood. Starting right now. Right now, Art. GO!
Art logged on to Coastgab about 40 minutes ago. Didn't even bother to post. Maybe he is too busy listening to C2C...
Quote from: indigoo on October 07, 2013, 11:35:16 PMWell no - having used the internet in the late 90s it was perfectly easy to look at any profile people chose to present online. The GIS presented a very professional tight-nit group of investigators that did not include Chunkamunka. I listened to Brendan through his Coast to Coast GIS shows and even his fledgling show "Contact Beyond with Brendan Cook". He seemed very credible and passionate about the field the entire time.
Back in the late 90s it wasn't as easy to dig up info on people; but with the idiotic trail people leave for themselves, people like Choke-a-dong, they can be found out quite easily. Art might not care but there are ways to get guests that are legit and are entertaining as well. There's a slew of new investigators/researchers out there, just takes some time to look around.
Anyway, still a fun show with all the antics, and the fun chat as usual!

Which would make Brendan a liar by association.
Quote from: Zap Rowsdower on October 07, 2013, 10:49:56 PMYou know man I didn't remember hearing this years ago until you mentioned it - you just made my world come shattering down. I hate getting old.
Lol, exactly what I'm talking about.
This is literally one they played years ago. People loved it. Now that it's on the new show, it's all of a sudden terrible radio.
This is the effect of a decade's worth of internet-age cynicism. Ya'll would have eaten this show up a decade or two ago.
Quote from: lonevoice on October 07, 2013, 10:32:31 PMI'm trying to find the clip - but I can't stop listening to the train-wreck that is streaming live - taking some time - what a mess.
Question. I remember the broken neck kid manifestation EVP when GIS first did it on C2C with Art. I seem to remember that Brendan saw the kid in a mirror in the original telling? And I don't remember Brendan saying that he asked the mortician if he'd ever had a kid with a broken neck there, and the mortician answering that he had, a year previously. Did I just forget these details, or have they changed?
Quote from: The General on October 07, 2013, 10:24:55 PMI'm not sorry. You want me to pay you to entertain me then entertain me. Start finding some people who won't bullshit me with fake EVPs or fake pictures of "pipes" on Mars.
Sorry we're such harsh critics Art.
We love the show.
YOU're doing great.
Quote from: mattjs2732 on October 07, 2013, 10:15:30 PMThis isn't the GIS from 2002 - This is Brendan Cook trying to impress his buddy by playing along with fake EVPs.
I can honestly say, it was GIS that I was listening to back in the Fall of 2002 when I first heard Art. Best night I ever had. But now, seems like GIS has gone way down hill.
