We can all grow and fine tune

Then how come you've never attempted to do that in the entire time you've been on C2C?

When claiming to be a call in show in the year 2013, be sure to routinely complain about callers that use cell phones.
This was cracking me up during the "show", I don't even have a landline and neither does any one of my friends.  Art needed to realize that not everyone was living in 1990.

That's great - keep testing - so when Art gets bored with streaming after a few days and "doesn't have the caller base" he will just up and quit.  Or maybe I'm wrong, it's not like he's done that before.

The truck driver cell phone excuse is SHIT - everyone use cell phones these days and for someone as tech-adept as Art knows that and is acting like an old fuddy duddy for not embracing that.

People who complained about the streaming issues have shitty computers because I have a mediocre computer and i get the Sirius stream just fine.  Art is taking that most extreme examples of problems and turning them into cases against his host.

Art wants to return to the Phillipines IMHO.  He's afraid of the Fukushima radiation that's descending on the west coast of this country, and not without reason. He's worried that Airyn eats a lot of fish. He's also afraid of the US economy, and feels his money would be far safer in the PI.  Don't forget that he was already ready to move back if the US government defaulted on their debts. He said he'd called his banker about converting his "sheckels" to pesos.  I've sensed real fear in his voice on both those issues.

I don't believe for one minute that he's leaving Sirius because they're not providing listeners with sterling reception.  Art talks in deliberate riddles, and as someone said recently, he's the supreme puppet-master.  I feel like I've been kicked in the gut, and I'm a fool if I don't just get over it soon.  Art Bell will be 70 years old in 2 years, and he's already lost any drive he ever had, and his memory is suffering.  By then, he may be just one more doddering old fool.

I could be wrong.  We'll see.  :'(

Whatever his reasons - let him go.  Fuck him.

Art logged on to Coastgab about 40 minutes ago.  Didn't even bother to post.  Maybe he is too busy listening to C2C...
Art Bell can post his apologies to my manhood.  Starting right now.  Right now, Art.  GO!

I have had zero problems over multiple devices.  This sounds like Art using the few vocal complainers to justify his boredom and regret.  Just canceled my Sirius account.  Fuggit.

Art is a man of his principle and whether you agree with him or not, that is an admirable quality.

- NO - Art is renowned for his flakiness and this isn't surprising in the least.

So his complaint was cell phones?  Wasn't he the asshat who started taking callers on SKYPE?

He is an old fart.  He is just an old guy who wants to grumble and blame the world for his problems while he sits on a pile of money.  He will now fade into obscurity.  Sad - when so many people wanted the best for the man.

The GIS show killed 50% of the show for me, the lame "Spooky Matter" show killed the rest.  Sorry that the show, Arts rep, and this forum will now die in the aftermath.  This is depressing shit.  Goodnight folks.

Tonight was the one show I was most looking forward to.  And it was shit.  I'm not having good feelings about the future of Dark Matter.

Back in the late 90s it wasn't as easy to dig up info on people; but with the idiotic trail people leave for themselves, people like Choke-a-dong, they can be found out quite easily. Art might not care but there are ways to get guests that are legit and are entertaining as well. There's a slew of new investigators/researchers out there, just takes some time to look around.

Anyway, still a fun show with all the antics, and the fun chat as usual!
Well no - having used the internet in the late 90s it was perfectly easy to look at any profile people chose to present online.  The GIS presented a very professional tight-nit group of investigators that did not include Chunkamunka.  I listened to Brendan through his Coast to Coast GIS shows and even his fledgling show "Contact Beyond with Brendan Cook".  He seemed very credible and passionate about the field the entire time.
I did not listen to him on George's show.  I won't listen to George.
Suddenly here he is with this DJ Chuddles and all the EVPs sound like faked crap. DJ Cankle has a ridiculous internet presence and that's what he chose to present to the world.  Now he is part of the GIS.   They sound like people trying to fake EVPs.  It's disappointing.  I could listen to an old GIS show tomorrow and enjoy it.  I won't listen to tonight's show again.

The reason people are saying "This is bologna" on the wormhole is because this show is bullshit.

Which would make Brendan a liar by association.
Anyone can be corrupted.  Follow the money.
#17
There was an EVP from a previous GIS show with splashing around - they're just imitating that.  Bunk.
#18
Why are they telling us what to hear before we hear it?
#19
One of the most disturbing EVPs DJ Chunkles has ever heard - minute and a half long - lets hear how credible this is . . .

Lol, exactly what I'm talking about.

This is literally one they played years ago. People loved it. Now that it's on the new show, it's all of a sudden terrible radio.

This is the effect of a decade's worth of internet-age cynicism. Ya'll would have eaten this show up a decade or two ago.
You know man I didn't remember hearing this years ago until you mentioned it - you just made my world come shattering down.  I hate getting old.

hahaha - "Greeehhht Ouuuhhhttt" - so fake
#22
Brendan keeps saying "we" like Chumples is part of the original GIS.  This makes me bummed.

Question.  I remember the broken neck kid manifestation EVP when GIS first did it on C2C with Art.  I seem to remember that Brendan saw the kid in a mirror in the original telling?  And I don't remember Brendan saying that he asked the mortician if he'd ever had a kid with a broken neck there, and the mortician answering that he had, a year previously.  Did I just forget these details, or have they changed?
I'm trying to find the clip - but I can't stop listening to the train-wreck that is streaming live - taking some time - what a mess.
#24
NO - before Barbara said there was no danger - even with them following you home!  This is such shit!

Sorry we're such harsh critics Art.
We love the show.
YOU're doing great.
I'm not sorry.  You want me to pay you to entertain me then entertain me.  Start finding some people who won't bullshit me with fake EVPs or fake pictures of "pipes" on Mars.
#26
Now they're doing the EVP Brendan heard back in a show from the 90s - he saw a kid with a broken neck - they're mixing-in the old EVPS to try to pass-off the new (fake) EVPs as credible.

EDIT: And CHUMBAWUMBA had nothing to do with this all those years ago so why is he talking?

I can honestly say, it was GIS that I was listening to back in the Fall of 2002 when I first heard Art. Best night I ever had. But now, seems like GIS has gone way down hill.
This isn't the GIS from 2002 - This is Brendan Cook trying to impress his buddy by playing along with fake EVPs.
#28
This sounds like someone trying to fake EVPS  . . . Growllllll.
#29
This is not a GIS show.  This is Brendan Cook trying to hang out with his buddy and creating fake EVPs for reasons unknown.  SO FAKE it's frustrating.

Oh we're done here.  This is crap.
