That is hilarious. I have been saying for quite some time that many "leftists" are more "right" than the majority of the people in the middle. I used to say that when you go far enough left or right, you start to find that it is actually more of a joined circle than line with "left" and "right."

Both the left and the right have identified a swamp and an unreal support of the rich exclusively. Both believe that the politicians have sold them out to corporations and special interests. Both are sick of the corruption. (many) are questioning the lockdown's and the effects. True leftists don't trust government, surveillance and all powerful corporations- and the right (should) agree. He's right- the solutions (of the far left) are wrong... But the problems that they see are real.

I pay a lot of attention to Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi, and enjoy Dore in addition to some more right sources... There is nothing in the middle that I care for anymore. Hell, Glenn quit the intercept (that he co-founded) because they wouldn't let him publish anything against Biden this elections saying that "anything that Biden has done, Trump has done worse." That is a man who I can't help but to respect. I am old enough to have read "the vampire squid" by Taibbi when it came out. There is very little he publishes that is not interesting (even if I disagree.)

I don't know that the biggest problem is the left or the right. It is the rotten core.

IF (and I do mean IF) this new strain exists- it is worldwide already. There is no way that they could discover how infectious it is in a matter of a day or two after finding "patient zero."
Quote from: WOTR on December 21, 2020, 02:37:21 AM
...Anyhow, the news has now told me that they know that the new variant of Covid is more infectious because 60% of the cases in London this month are the new strain.

Let's break that down. Thousands of cases this MONTH in a major transportation hub are the new strain. And we locked down now in an effort to contain it in London?

Fuck me. Do they honestly believe that we are that stupid? The new variant is already worldwide if there are that many cases in the span of a month. I would be interested to know how long this strain has been out there. I'm guessing at least since October. Interesting that every country and state has been experiencing climbing rates despite their draconian lockdowns the last month or so. I'm sure it is a fucking coincidence.

But yeah... Lock it down. That will help.  ::)

I believe that the balloonists crashed into a lake and were drowned.  Pieces of the wreckage were washed ashore, and a homing pigeon (used by the balloonists to send messages, was also found in the water, dead.  I think some of their bodies were eventually recovered but I'm not sure.  I remember reading about some of them at Find A Grave but I can't remember their names.  You see, this is what I get when I try to do research at such an ungodly hour and am dead tired.
That's too bad. Not a great Christmas present for a few families that year.

Beautiful! See, Whoozit- That is how it is done. Don't admit that somebody might have made a joke about bribing the owner of a podcast with "dozens" of listeners to install a host. Then double down and go on the attack.

Now that is proper Bellgab etiquette. That was a first class show... Great demonstration, Jack.*

No, no NO! The first rule of both Bellgab (and politics) is to never admit that you were wrong in any way, whatsoever. The second rule is to double down on your position. And then finally, keep repeating it (with increasing anger) over, and over until people finally give up.

Your cover was not blown. You are simply dead until such time as you chose to animate again. Life is easier dead. As such, your statistics are correct.

Please, pay attention and follow the life advice contained this classic bellgab song.

That's a pretty spineless way to call somebody a liar. You're obviously perfect for the GabCast.

No one pays me. NOT ANYTHING, NOT ANYONE. If this were the Old West... I wouldn't have bothered writing this post I would have read what you wrote, and then immediately called you out, and then immediately plugged you right through your red-blooded American heart.

Quick question: you want to try that one again? As I've been called a liar just a few too many times this year, and iif t happens three more times, I'm going to get a little metal that I can affix to my hat, so I got that going for me.

Your move. Zugzwang.

I think it's adorable how you take everything literally. Whoozit has died 3 times... Somebody paid you for an endorsement of a poster who (in all likelihood) does not wish to be on a podcast to host... It must be hard to go through life with that particular sense of humour.

Carry on.

Maybe it's time for you to host the GabCast. (Jackstar has not been paid or recompensed in any way for this promotional message.)

There was a time when I would believe such declarations. "I did not have sex with that woman." "I have had no business dealings in China or the Ukraine with my son, Hunter." But I have become jaded and believe that somebody is paying for such an endorsement.

The virus was identified as, "SARS-CoV2." Are you sure you're not dead already? Maybe you better check with a qualified health care professional, just to be sure.

Look. If the official death rate is 1.5%- then you have to consider individuals such as Whozit, who have already died 3 times during this pandemic. Really, the number has to be closer to 5%.

As for me- I may or may not be among the undead. I'll check my pulse and ability to fog a mirror once the government lifts lock down restrictions and allows me to have sex again. Hail the all powerful big brother who now declares who may and who may not fuck through medical decree.

It's your decision to improperly use the fixes your gov. is instructing you to use.

If you combine PROPER hand hygiene with proper mask application.  Everytime your hands go to your face, they must be clean.  As in just cleaned seconds prior.

Fuck the masks, if everyone would just wash their hands we'd be good.  Masks increase transmission in those who arent trained or fail to follow established mask/PPE donning and doffing.  Yes guys, after you pick your nose, you should wash your hands.

peace
Hog
Yes. It is wonderful of Justine and Dr. Who to instruct me to use a mask. I know how to use them- I have a video of me standing in a cloud of chlorine gas in full PPE. But it is not an exaggeration to say that my "one time use" mask is on and off over 100 times each day.

Yeah, I could go to the washroom to wash my hands each time. But I have to put on a mask to go there. I could use hand sanitizer 200X each day- but that just isn't happening. I suppose the most obvious answer would be for my government officials to declare that you have to be masked 24/7. You can take your mask off once each day to change it. That would prevent the mentally infirm such as myself from endangering society.

I get that there are people who like to follow rules. I'm guessing that many of them are employed in a profession where they can shout "yes sir." Most people like that naturally follow rules very well. I don't. (BTW- not judging either way.) Not for a virus as deadly as Covid. Now you introduce Ebola to the general population, and I promise to start observing strict protocols. I will also say that if I worked in a long term care home I would. When I visited a hospice (ironically) I did. Day to day? Nope.

But then I think that most people are fatigued. Even those who used to be very strict are starting to slip.

So I heard on Jackstar's "network" (that's what he calls his little YT podcast--technically correct I guess) that Pubini might be having some trouble getting his "network" off the ground.

Who could have seen THAT coming? :o

With how smoothly MITD went from being owned by Keith to run by a consortium, I am a little surprised that the network did not go live sooner. I suppose it just needs a little more time. I hear that getting transmission signals to bend around a sphere is more complex than it would be on flat ground.

What about when Bill Gates in the video says vaccines are used for population control?

My biggest problem with that is that if it is true, "they" are failing miserably. All kinds of vaccination programs exist around the world- and the population is still exploding in every country aside from the western countries, where people are too busy on Twitter and getting a tummy tuck to bother with kids anymore...
