What are the odds this interview doesn't happen, for any manner of reasons?

After last weekend mix ups, I'm positive the Big Guy will be prepared and on time for the interview.

Dave is the wild card, I hope he's not mad at Bellgabbers and is going to even the score by blowing off Falkie.
Of course, he would be with-in his rights to do so, because Falkie plans on having Dave pay for not only his glasses but all other travel related expenses.

I'm not sure, which is best. Conducting the interview and then asking for money.
Or the other way around, Falkie, could be upfront with Dave and tell him before the interview, that he needs the money before the interview starts???

Now there has been some talk of a simulcast with MV/Gabcast of the Norry/Falkie interview... Since Curtis did such a fine job last night of patching up things with Keith and MV. Maybe it would serve both Falkie and Dave better if Curtis moderated the interview.

Yeah that's it... Falkie's jail breaking his iPad tomorrow and signing up with T-Mobile, Curtis can fire up the Gabcast software and Skype lines for Falkie and George and we all get to listen to it live. And we could have live call in questions too. This should be a pay for view event!!!

ugh, how uncomfortable. Surprised Falkie didn't get his ass kicked out of there. You don't just shove a camera in someone's face and do that. I saw a video of Falkie walking down the street talking about various businesses, which was nice enough. Then he started filming people walking by with no respect for their privacy and then poking his head in the shops and recording them. The guy has no shame and no sense of boundaries.

Falkie should ask Dave for the money in the middle of the interview so we can all see Dave's reaction.  Will he

a)  Immediately write a check?
b)  Take out his wallet and hand Falkie the cash?
c)  Stare incredulously at the big man with glasses taped to his face?
d) Pull a Pearl and quickly walk away?
e) Other

Another mystery solved.

There is absolutely no reason to cross a toll bridge between Martinez and Santa Cruz, in fact it's more congested and the long way around.  The claim of 'getting lost' is absurd - what with all those huge green directional signs along the highway with the white letters periodically spelling out 'San Jose' and 'Santa Cruz'.  Be sure to get a toll receipt, as the Snorge may ask for one.

Hell, if Noory is paying for it, go over the San Rafael Bridge and then over the Golden Gate - take the scenic route if it's on PremRat..  Let me know if you need Santa Cruz brewpub recommendations, they've got some good ones down there

He has to do it during.  That way we Gabbers can hold Snoory to it.  Forever!

Probably before but who knows. It's Noory's money after all and he's promised to pay for them.
Those string things everyone has but no one knows what they are called.
Wouldn't have helped in this case since I fell asleep with them on.
One nice thing about the Iographer. I can keep the IPad in the Iographer, hold onto it with thumb and forefinger and type one fingered with the other hand, thus not requiring me to wear the glasses when I type on my palatial box fan barge and casino.

Can somebody please explain the whole "box fan" thing for me?  I've seen a box fan or two in the background in some of the videos, but I've also seen enough references to it to know that it's a Falkie "thing."  I'd appreciate any kind of explanation or background that anyone can provide.

Thanks in advance from Open Lines Gerry.

Noory may not pay for my expenses since it was MY fault I missed the interview. But he might since it's such a long way to go. Drone thinks I shouldn't ask him but Noory knows the state of my finances and probably will.
And I keep telling you guys I go the way I feel comfortable with.
We HAVE gotten lost down there.
Bay Bridge to San Jose to Santa Cruz. Can do that with no problem.
Any new way may make me late again and there's NO way I am going to miss this interview.

Falkie has no AC.  Box fan = Falkie Climate Control.

It will cost you an additional $20.😅😜

But seriously, when I first started videos, MV commented on the box fans on the couch the couch behind me. It's become a running joke.
They're essential in here in the summer as it gets up to a 100 in the living room during the day.
Luckily, now with the IPad, I can do videos outdoors or somewhere cooler than in here.
If I ever create an animated logo for my videos, it will be one of the Box Fan VIdeo Network.
Watch for the new Bellgab related t shirt I will be wearing within a week or as soon as it arrives.

Falkie, do you ever go down to Cupertino?  You should make a video on the Apple campus, given your expertise with their products.

Excellent idea.  Please do this, Falkie.  See if you can interview Tim Cook and Jonathan Ive.  They would be astonished and grateful for an opportunity to see the world's greatest iPadsman working at his craft.

Thats actually a pretty good idea, if hes ever out that way.
MacFags would love to see Heaven. See what they will let you record on campus.
Easy with the JJ Abrams lenz flair and shaky cam.
Hipsters will love some of the shaky cam, lens flair faggotry.
Make sure you wear a black turtleneck that day, Falkie.

You aren't fooling anyone, Chris, even though you sign your post Gerry. Falkie believes you so that's all that matters.

I will be soooo glad when I get one set of unbroken glasses. I keep putting down the glasses and then I either can't see them or can't remember where I put them.
I'm a bit mentally worn out too.
Not going to unlock the Ipad until Friday. We are both broke until then and low on gas. The TMobile & AT & T stores are 10 miles from here and I want some coffee and a Cinnabon before I do anything. It's my once a month treat to  myself for later at home.
Nope, I am going to do the interview. Noory would not trust anyone from here to do it. Of that I am certain.
And it's MY interview, not MV's.
Nothing against him, but I've worked hard to set this up and I will be doing it and since I already have a list of the questions I want to ask, it should not be that hard to do.
And we have already decided to discuss what will be asked in the interview before hand.
Noory needs to discuss other things with me as well.
After all, I did come up with the idea of asking him in the first place and won't be as tired or flustered as I was this past weekend.
It should be cooler down there too as Santa Cruz is either on the ocean or bay, I can't remember which and am typing 8 or 9 inches away from the screen right now. Too much eye strain and the Ipad is charging.
It will be nice when we get the a/c in our car fixed.
Too damned hot to drive around without it.
I'm going to take a break from the net and thaw out my whole frozen chicken and go feed the cats and put away dishes and do more dishes.
Tired of eating sandwiches as all that's left in the freezer is chicken. I do have fresh corn on the cob but need to clear up the pots on the stove to cook them.
Can't do much dish washing as my sink U is leaking big time. Have had to do dishes in either the bathroom sink or bathtub.
And its cat feeding time.

You clearly have more than one treat a month. To get well over 300 pounds, you need to consume a massive amount of calories to even maintain that weight. You are consuming close to 3,000 calories a day to maintain that boyish figure of yours.

Believe what you want to.  MV's comment on the matter should have settled it, but I guess even that wasn't enough to satisfy some of the doubters.  I've never read any of his posts, but in looking at his fan site, I don't think his writing style is the same as mine.  Maybe someday, like Falkie, you will believe in Open Lines Gerry.

By the way, for anyone interested, following tomorrow night's fascinating discussion with Linda Moulton Howe, we're set for those Open Lines this coming Friday night on Coast To Coast AM!

There will be a George Noory live event in my area later this year.  I told Drone that if Falkie hasn't conducted the interview by the time that rolls around, I may need to waste the money to go there just to talk to him for a few minutes myself during a meet & greet - all questions focused solely on the topic of Falkie, of course.

You've got to take care of this interview this weekend, Falkie.  I don't need the prospect of attending a Noory event hanging over my head in the coming months!

You see the thing is, I mean the thing for Falkie to realize here is, well Falkie seemed to say this is proof he's being paid for work but... this interview isn't for Noory's benefit and being paid for work implies services rendered and... aww, screw it.

Falkie can have dave. I bet art will call into the Gabcast once his non-compete expires.

I still think it would be smart of Falkie to get a title loan against Kathy's Prius and drive out to Art's house.  :P

He'd better do it  before he presents the EyePad cartoons.

This is precisely why Kathy's 'The Making Of' documentary is so important.  It will capture the fascinating events surrounding the actual Falkie/Noory interview.

Falkie, I know you hate me and won't take my advice, but you respect paperboy so listen to him. You are traveling way out of the way to get to santa cruz, spending $$ for gas and time that's wasted.  i've lived in santa cruz twice, sold a rental home we had there recently, me traveling almost every weekend back and forth between there and the valley to paint and get it ready for sale, I know the freeways like the back of my hand. From Martinez, take 680 south to Hwy 17. that's it. Why, at age 62, can't you take advice from ppl in the know? we can help you. why can't you accept our (or at least paperboy's) advice?
