Yep, same here. The site said an unlimited server soon. I will give it another try in a few days.

u7 radio is not the greatest but i've been listening to artbellalways for a week or so and it seems good so far, although i have heard some shows that were not hosted by art bell on there, in fact i'm pretty sure i remember hearing a noory broadcast at one point so yeah it might not be for everyone.

How long before Premiere & Sirius shut it down though?

rangerdavid

well, at least it's Art.  Any Art is better than no Art, which is better than nothing.  Nothing is better than Snoory.

What happened to Spec Sheet?  I looked on artbell.com for next airing but it wasn't on list as of yesterday.

FYI I've been checking the originally-mentioned station out alot via the tunein site at:

http://tunein.com/radio/Art-Bell-Always-s210179/

Just heard a great show from 11-20-2001 with Dr. Ralph Merkle about nanotech and cryonics.  Such an interesting show.  I can't believe that a technology-oriented show from over 12 years ago was so thought-provoking and cool.  Good callers with interesting technical and philosophical questions which Art handled with ease.  Art was engaged and upbeat and had great bumper music and goddamn Art I miss you man.

Also as a bonus there was a very interesting call with a fundamentalist bible believer which Art handled tactfully and respectfully but also got the heart of a the caller's religious point-of-view ... which was followed by an epic hilarious JC call where he accused William Shatner of being a Canadian operative and the X-Files as being some kind of media pornography that was destroying America.  Oh man I miss those days so much.

Anyway thanks to rangerdavid for the heads-up on the stream and I hope others can enjoy also as there's just nothing like vintage Bell.  More entertainment in five minutes than in an entire Noory snoore-fest show.

What MV quit? Oh Man MV did an "Art Bell". Oh well.

this site is just the BOMB!!!  all art, all day, 24-7......   I got the tuneIn radio app and now listen to it on the headphones at night so as not to bother the wife.  GREAT!!!  this will tide me over until we can get the real thing (hopefully) again!!!

I did not. THANK YOU!

ETA: MEL'S HOLE IS ON NOW!!

Looks like Premiere issued a cease and desist. By, by website.

bluth co.

So sad, maybe it'll pop back up again sometime, or something better might come along, who knows.

For some strange reason all the new Art Bell streams get hit by PremRat very quickly now.
Except for U7, why are they always given a pass?

This blows. Was the only thing getting me through this crap. Was pretty nice.

Heather Wade

It made us happy.  So they had to shut it off.  Fuckers.

Do they have a web site with  paypal button? Is their hosting in the US?

This one did indeed have a "donate" button. Really not smart.

I've been the main relay for u7 for over a year now, but my server is located in europe.. I don't know why they haven't been taken down, but the owner doesn't seem too worried about it lol.

Misread, I meant artbellalways had it, not U7.

bluth co.

would it kill u7 to increase their pool of shows? I feel like i've heard every show on rotation by now, and artbellalways didn't seem to have any trouble with that.
