Anyone living with any sort of health issue can increase rates of death.  Advanced age, basic age, being over weight, diabetes, COPD, HIV/AIDS, the flu, recent surgery, addiction issues(drinking, smoking, drugs).  Pretty much the same population that SHOULD be getting flu shots.

No fees to pay at all (apart from dental and optometry - but it is subsidised). We love our NHS, and it’s generally great if you need it for something serious, not so great for routine stuff, awful for GP visits.

Woefully unable to cope in a scenario such as we are facing, but then I think the same could be said for even the most well equipped healthcare system.

He is management, not top tier but management nonetheless. He just notified me they are expecting production halts next week, until minimum of Q4 2020!

Chinese suppliers have not made contact indicating they are up again, or even shipped a single part in nearly a month.

I get that many folks wouldn't first think of ancient Greek myths when it comes to Elysium but thought at least some here would think Megadeth before some Hollywood claptrap- which clearly from name was riffing off the old idea of a paradise- for the chosen- post-death.  Not sure if they mentioned it but clearly from the name. Interestingly one sometimes see "Old Folks" communities that incorporate the name Elysian Fields or some such. I always laugh at that and wonder if they know-"you know that is a place for the dead!"  Funny how planned communities, neighborhoods, etc are named.....
