hi lasha

That would be my guess.  She doesn't have anything else she can do for Heather, other than to White Knight for her here I suppose.

I have long been wishing for the return of the Heather Police.   ;D

so what's the story on the gun threat?

a is jump

I'm about halfway through last night's MITD2 and I had forgotten how much of Heather's show is filled with moments of utter inanity, and how often I had to sort of cringe my way through those moments to get to what I saw as the good parts.

I used to really root for Heather, so it was easier for me to overlook those moments of cringe. In light of her behavior and the total shitshow over the past 6 weeks, and ESPECIALLY in light of a couple of solid weeks of MITD with a professional host behind the mic, it's so much harder to listen to her flounder.

I thought I was going to try to listen to both MITDs, but I don't know if I have it in me.

As much as I despise her show, I'm guessing her upcoming package opening show is going to provide a lot of comedy. Can't wait to hear her open 23 packages from Paul and Ella.

I bloody well hope she's had them all X-ray'd or the results could be...explosive... ;D

...still a unique angle to take...

Was anybody able to listen to Hedder's show last night with Carlos Casteneda's former student? The stream kept dying, and I only heard 5 minutes of it.

Came through fine here.

She was sort of OK, to much emotion to lead off, then a choppy interview and a lot of suckup by the guest.

Audio was at least stable, reading emails off in lieu of the "later this week" dump button installation.

:-\

I m wondering about both things. Did the stream stay up most people?

A-ok here.

Audio was clean too.

QuoteWhat did Heather deliver? More trainwreck ?  Or has she used the down time for self reflexion ?

A little of both - heavy emotional lead in, much suckage and "I understand" from the guest. Marginal interview...sleepy time ensued...

On the heels of a successful unboxing show series, can haul shows be far behind?

Even after all of her mental malfunctions and psychotic silliness, I think her refusal to take on a guest host all came down to the above.

Analogous to Wally Pipp. For you baseball-minded folks.

Dave isn't Dave? Do tell!  Maybe he's Tim Dennis?
Or George Noory?

Ps , thank you for the link chefist.

I listened at this link for the entire show, and had a solid stream the entire time.

Indeed!  She would be good competition for Senda IMO.  Everyone needs some good competition to keep them striving for better things.

Honestly, I just cant listen.  I feel like I have enough crazy in my life. I don't want to wish her some evil ending, nor would I be thrilled to see her crash and burn as a radio host. I just feel like "you get back when you put in".  She chose a path to go down, in response to Art's death.  Yeah, we all grieve differently, but she still had choices in front of her. I'm not sure she made the right ones.

Good morning Dave! Hope you get over your allergy stuff.

I love your references to buttons working and all.  It's a little inside baseball but it is funny.  One thing you come off as is much more down-to-earth and amongst the rest of us. Whether it's being self-effacing or humorous.  Who do you want to play you in the TV movie on Lifetime? The Fringe Radio Wars will be on the Fall schedule.

Oh, crap! We could have Package Wars!  Alternating between Senda and Wade. Since both obviously aren't stable enough to find their own self worth without others' gifts for doing nothing...

Paul- one of the good ones.
Both Paul and Ringo are assholes. Condescending fucks.  Ringo doesn't have the ability to charm and lacks the depth (thus the Rainman-like "peace and love" mantra he repeats while he's a vitriolic bastard).

I will hand it to Paul though, he has (occasionally) made efforts to make amends, usually after somebody is terminally ill...

I mean, I don't know him personally, obviously.  Also, didn't he cheat on his wife?  Out of the other Beatles, I meant,  I probably liked his solo career the best.

Sorry, am I the only one having problems downloading from the link?  :-[

I can right-click fine, but when I hit "save" the "HW 5-28-18.mp3" won't download.  Am I missing something?

This may explain the unsteady streaming that Chefist was having last night on Discord and I was having with DMDN, TuneIn, etc...

Hell, even George was constantly on the prowl... So much so, his widow referred to it in their documentary.

My dealings with those two were limited to a couple of different business things and opportunities to meet them in person... I must admit though, I didn't bother with Paul, I did meet his band though. I actually had business dealings with the drummer's father long ago and thought that was kind of neat to talk to him.

I remember seeing reading an interview where an escort referred to George as a morbid date.

I guess if you have sycophant yes-men surrounding you for decades, being an asshole is the least of your worries... Ask Elvis after you get your Spirit Box.

her reaction to fontaine's passing lends credence to her grief for art. Her complaints about keef hassling her behind the scenes I now believe were justified after the guy revealed his smarmy attitude and mean streak online after she left. I think she had to leave..and while under major stressors. I wish her the best of luck and will subscribe when that option is available.

A morbid date? Interesting.  :o

Not at all to excuse their behavior, but having women and girls fawning all over them for decades- teens crying at the very sight of them- must have done quite a number to their egos.  You have to wonder what they would have been like had they never been a Beatle?

He kept insisting Paul was dead.

so Heater said she needed two additional weeks off from LNM because of tech/audio issues? did i hear that correctly? yet still no phones...

- no rebrand
- no phones
- no dump button
- audio is shit
- pitty party
- "im a person too"

LMFAO! Heather, you're fucking pathetic.

Clearly she did not, and the results continue to dog her.

a.) Still no dump button...

b.) Emails only and no wormhole...

c.) Numerous thank you's to her long suffering audience  (all 12 of them)...

d.) The gift unboxing promise - anything perishable will have by now...

e.) Guest showing uncommon deference...

f.) No donation/subscription facility still...

I personally think she snoozed and lost her audience. But I also think her dozen faithful may well have exceeded Vara's paltry audience.

I don't see this becoming a viable competitor for Dave, and I am now captivated by the notion that Vara's combustibility will in due time surface and scuttle the whole "network".

We shall see.. ???
