It's going to be difficult to be a future BellGab historian. The supporting data is spread across dozens of facebook groups, twitter accounts, discord feeds, audio files, externally hosted gifs and reaction images, and youtube videos.

Seemed like a perfectly reasonable way to answer a question relating to Art's Trans-Am...I remembered it because I owned one at the time he was talking about his. You know what they say, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. You aids riddled cunt.

You were being reasonable, this is just Bellgab being itself.

Sure, cheap labor is great but giving them so much technology and now using technological devices that effect our communications, energy infrastructure, and military devices is stupid.

You know the company in question is an electronics manufacturer, right?

For sure. To summarize you can’t put music in the downloads unless you have tons of money and you also can’t do another show if you signed a non-compete. I would say she is pretty fucked right now.

Paul and Ella won't be able to save her, unless they are secretly high-power attorneys.

Most are. I am not an eggspert but I believe washing the eggs makes them more susceptible to spoilage as well as it remives some type of coating. Or I could be imagining that part.

No that's a thing.
https://www.npr.org/sections/thesalt/2014/09/11/336330502/why-the-u-s-chills-its-eggs-and-most-of-the-world-doesnt

QuoteSo what's the deal with washing and refrigeration? Soon after eggs pop out of the chicken, American producers put them straight to a machine that shampoos them with soap and hot water. The steamy shower leaves the shells squeaky clean. But it also compromises them, by washing away a barely visible sheen that naturally envelops each egg.

"The egg is a marvel in terms of protecting itself, and one of the protections is this coating, which prevents them from being porous," says food writer Michael Ruhlman, author of Egg: A Culinary Exploration of the World's Most Versatile Ingredient.

Also, I would welcome expert guests to come on to discuss unsolved mysteries.  Details and background on the murder, if it is a murder (a weird-ass mystery would do as well), why it's still unsolved and what could be done to get it solved.  I like that sort of thing.  (Yes it is all about me,.... lol,... but also I'm a good example of what makes up the Bellian audience).

Here's the thing, there is literally no shortage of true crime podcasts. You could listen to nothing but murder for 24 hours a day and never run out of it. This is a well that is best visited infrequently, if ever.

Yeah, I noticed that. Too bad he's all "Goblins n' Such", but I mean, Heather did a bit of politics and you could hear she was just parroting Art's support of Trump. Maybe Schrader knows to stick to shit he's good at.

Still though, I'm into the unusual myself, and that could include the Goblins ... the problem is no one does the Goblins like Art did - and all these knockoffs don't seem to get it! Its not the content Art happened to cover, its the way he covered it. Yet they seem to push push push this paranormal crap.

Oh well, I guess that's just what they're into. Its a pity though.

P.S. You didn't poorly convey it - I think you did a fine job of conveying it.

Thanks for that.
Doesn't even have to be US politics. Say country "X" is in the news, interview someone who is an expert in the culture and motivations of the people in country "X", something along those lines.

While Dave was in here there was a parallel conversation about Switzerland going on, and it was interesting. So yeah, he shouldn't be locked into high strangeness all the time.

That's the thing I'm after too, interesting guests, and most importantly for me interesting topics. This push for Midnight in the Desert to be a "paranormal" show so turns me off.

What I enjoyed so much about Art is the wide array of subjects he covered, and the chemistry he forged with the person at the other end of the phone. I feel like his later stint on Coast was the most interesting of all, as he would speak to people about things that were ... not exactly current, but rather just ideas you may not think twice about, or seemed pedestrian: The bird flu, consciousness, space, research of various kinds, a kidnapping, little known details of the life of Jesus, peripheral topical "politics", war and other stuff.

Miscellaneous? I guess, random maybe ... but THESE were the maverick intellectual muscles Art was flexing, demonstrating his ability to interview just about anyone on anything, and make it interesting - and by dissecting the bits that inspired tangential commentary.

I poorly tried to convey that to Good Dave when he was in here yesterday, but his response was "no politics". So get used to goblins 'n such forever.

I'm simply stunned Paul and Ella are Heater fans.  "Welcome to the cuckshed.  Pee your dog often."

You're not allowed to pee while you're out in the cuckshed. That's part of the rules.
