Moving them is an expense to be reckoned with:

https://www.moving.com/tips/moving-mobile-home-expect-pay/

For a single-wide, full-service move â€" from transporting the home within 50 miles to acquiring the permits to hooking up the utilities â€" customers will pay somewhere between $5,000 to $8,000. Moving a double-wide mobile home this distance will likely cost between $10,000 to $13,000

Those double wides last longer in the desert than they do elsewhere with lots of rain and higher humidity. I don’t know how long it has been on that lot but I assume it was lightly used before she moved in and well maintained.

Pahrump is growing.  Lots of people commute to Las Vegas, Frontsight Firearms Training Center has doubled in size and is building out their resort. Virgin’s Hyperloop One built a test track there and is supposed to extend it this year. There are a few casinos and several sex establishments including at least one dude ranch.

If she were to sell in the next couple of years she will likely turn a profit. But there will come a time when the double wide starts losing value quickly.  If the economy tanks Pahrump will tank quicker than Las Vegas so that is always a gamble. It won’t fall as hard but there won’t be any buyers. That place would make a decent rental for people attending or working at Frontsight though.

Indeed, plus she could add all her sob story to it for her rich elderly fans, you know, I'm putting my home up for auction because the evil bellgab trolls made it impossible for me to do a show and make my payments.  She could make her payoff the minimum acceptable bid, and I bet she would get millions for it as the elderly fans compete for her appreciation and adoration while they bid.

How much are you offering for accomodidations at the cuckshack the next time you are there for training?  Perhaps BartEll could allow booking "the Art Bell Legacy experience" through his website?  Much like a massage with a "happy ending", the base rate is $100 / night.  What additional "Art Bell experiences" you wish to partake in are between you and your host.  ;)

Yep. And this is not a true double wide if I remember correctly. It is a modular home. Doesn’t have its own wheels. They bring them in on a flatbed, fasten them together and then add the siding on the endcaps. My grandparents had one built over a cinder block crawlspace in Michigan and after 25 years it was in pretty rough shape.

Well, her elderly adoring fans would probably bid millions for it, and then let her live in it for free, or even just let her keep it LOL

oh shit, she actually lived with them? I thought that was a joke.
Nope.  She lived at lest a hundred feet away from the main compound.  Some still consider it a joke.  8)

Heather could probably make MUCH more off the cuckshed, than she will ever make as a radio host.

With the lack of pictures around the net, "Heather 1" could give service in the master bedroom, "Heather 2" could service clients in the guest room, and "Heather 3" could occupy the living room.  "Heather Wade" would not need to do anything other than collect her cut (and pay BartEll his cut as the booking agent.)

I don't think we really know how long she lived there. She might not have officially moved but she could have been taking up temporary residence in the cuckshed from the beginning. And the trail of abandoned wives/kids doesn't suggest that he's prone to being influenced by weeping females.

Or that he felt he was too susceptible and had to get away.  He was complex, emotional, and juvenile.  Regardless, selling her the house next door is a funny escape route -- he certainly didn't have to do it.  He was making amends.

I can stay at the Saddlewest for $49 a night per room and that includes buffet breakfast for up to 4 people. A deluxe version room (coffee maker and small fridge costs me $59).

I have stayed at the Winery, which is the buildings with the blue roof in that one drone video where Art is oearning how to use it at his friend’s house.  They have single wide “cabins”. I don’t remember how much those were. Maybe $70 per night - no breakfast but they had a kitchen.

If Frontsight ever does get their resort built I am supposed to be able to stay free there.  Not counting on that day though. I have a feeling you will have to book too far in advance.  Right now I can get into any class with 3 week notice.

I want to spend about a month out there within the next year though. I’ll check with BartEll.

If you've heard the interview with Karen Jackson at KNYE this is not unlike what Art did when he literally dumped his radio station on her with no training and then had her handle all his affairs while he played hooky at the Manilla condo...

Same game, different mark...

Yes, and Karen still idolizes him for it.  When will she ever wake up and realize she's been swindled?

SpookyTim

Could you imagine her putting the Cuckshed up on Airbnb?

"Spend a night soaking in the #LEGACY of Art Bell! Includes one free lesson of learning to speak radio in Art's legendary studio. You can sit in his chair and wear his headphones (please don't adjust them, they are still set for his big head). Just don't try to pet the kittycats, they're still getting used to people."

Hi Paul

With all the disclosures on Art’s antics I wonder if they will ever find hidden cameras. I can imagine Art wanting to get like ve video of any anal probbing while Whitley was visiting.

Is that Saddlewest deal for everyone? Anyplace I can find that is clean with with wifi and a morning buffet for under $100 interests me.

No.  It is a discount that I get for being a lifetime member at Frontsight.

Their normal rate is less than $100 though. Just not sure what it is.

Edit: I just looked and the rate for a basic single nonsmoking room is $49 now but I don’t think that includes breakfast.

You know, it's too bad Bellgab wasn't around back then so we could warn her what kind of narcissiopathic monster she was dealing with, the poor defenseless creature.  I'm sure that loan came with strings.

Their website has a bunch of $49 and $59 deals all over it right now. Thinking about making a visit. My dad always finds cheap flights to Vegas from Boston, then it's just an hour drive.

Yep, her fanatics would be sending her truckloads of Purina Fancy Feast and Blue Buffalo to unwrap and hock for the Cuckshed.

According to what dictionary?  Last I checked, both spellings are acceptable.  :P
