Guy watched Ex Sullivan show on his PC. Presumably in the 1990’s.

Ed Sullivan went off the air in 1971.

It's a thin line...
I would love to love George that way.  That would be great.  Maybe with the right counseling... he might actually become appealing!  As it is, he is a roady who appears to drink a lot, who sounds randy in mixed company, gloats, & profits from teasing women at events.

I mean, it's only the first hour and he already joked he thought one woman was from Venus, and then went on about some female actress being great, adding that they (female actressess I guess) all were great.  And George doesn't just get texts from an actress he knows, but from "an attractive actress he knows."

Is it a coincidence his avatar looks like the same one as the one at the front of the Hollisters panty and bra store at the mall?  He says there are no coincidences.

That was a ridiculous call. George and guest excited though.

...  Also, one was crying because she was told she had to lose more weight, but her body wouldn't slim anymore.  She was frantic and started to consider skipping food altogether.  Well, I analyzed her height and weight from various online sources, and she was 15lbs UNDERWEIGHT already, yet her manager rebuked her for being too fat...

I've often thought that he is a highly functioning alcoholic. Who would want that?  Also, the comments about various women is off putting.   Norry, it is not attractive and no women do not think more about you for those lewd comments.

I second that.  Norry, like Dateline said, randy comments are unattractive and women actually don't like lewdness!

Dateline I've wondered about the alcohol too.  Does your acquaintence think he has a problem, or is she a gulper too...

Verified.  And disgusting.  While verifying this I read that evidently models end up in the hospital a lot due to starvation.  How come we never hear about it?

Jojo

On the bright side, he gives away any surplus proceeds from the dating websites, doesn't seem extravagant, and cares about his staff.

How come no one ever talks about ghostlydate.com?

I tried to put a onesie on her but Lunapic and Google Images don't work very well with Amazon Fire tablets.  I liked my RCA tablet way better than Fire.

and when Tim Weisberg tells you that being levitated by a spirit at the Lizzy Borden house was just the beginning of the strange things that he experienced there, the proper responce to that is, "Really?  Like what?"

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I SAID!!! When I had to submit my list of 10-15 questions to George ahead of the interview, I purposely gave him answers that would require a follow-up...but instead, he just went to the next question on the list, like he wasn't even listening.

That’s an improvement. Sometimes he asks about what you just said.

Not surprised. Btw loved your comments on Heather Wade’s page. You are right she is very unprofessional. Btw been listening to your show forever. Back when you used to do podcasts from someone’s back yard with your science advisor and tech guy. Their names are escaping me at the moment. Hope you are doing great!

SpookyTim

Doing great, hope you are too! Still doing Spooky Southcoast, now in our 13th year, and we've been saying we have to do another of those backyard podcasts this year.

I'm sorry that it took Art's death to kick me in the pants, but I'm focusing now on getting the show back to being what I wanted it to be...a continued look into the unknown and not so much about self-promotion and what events we'll be at, etc. I'm afraid I'm getting too far from Art, and too close to George.

Wake up call!  ;)

I've never heard you before but it sounds right up my alley. Do you have link to your show?

That is so great! The self reflection is awesome. I think your show and mysterious universe were the first two podcasts I ever downloaded on my iPod Nano. I loved those shows. Just you and the Matts( I really think they were both named Matt) shooting the shit about life and the paranormal. The shows on the Boston radio station were great too. Good to know you guys are still around. Welcome and post often!

What do you mean ''like he wasn't even listening''?

I was giving him the benefit of the doubt 😂

Tommee should be on a Kleenex and water diet

Don’t think I’ve heard Jimmy Church before.  Is it just me, or does his radio voice sound very forced?  Like somebody who doesn’t have a naturally deep voice trying to make it sound that way.

Thanks.  The thread started off so positive and slowly the opinions of him started going downhill lol.  The way he talked about Noory in the beginning I’m surprised he got this guest hosting gig.

Maybe he has an endocrine disorder.  I'm not saying i like his songs, but he seems like a decent person.  Other than the coveting your neighbor's wife song, Midnight Special.

That part started at 16:16 first hour.  As you wound down for a pause, your voice faded out and your speech slowed as if to invite George to talk.  Suddenly, though, your voice volume returned and you spoke very quickly, but George had probably formed his response when you faded out.  He probably didn't expect you to become driven again so quickly after sounding like you were winding down for the moment.

As for content, you did say the levitation was one among many more amazing things.  So, George prompted if you got any EVPs.  Still on same topic.  It sounds to me like he was asking a leading question about what you had just said, trying to get you to expound on a facet of the other amazing stuff.  So, sure, his question was narrow, but it was meant to be a continuation.  If he had simply said, "Wow!  Like what?" he would have gotten back a laundry list.  But in asking if any of the stuff was an EVP, he could get a story from you.

The conversation about Bordens continued after that, too.  Both you and he continued it.  He did not move on too fast.

However, other people see this the way you describe it.  But I listened to it just now, and the only flaw I found was that George asked a narrow question instead of a broad one.  But he didn't change the topic or move on too quickly.

I agree about Jimmy Church. His voice is annoying and I do not listen when he is on.

I like Jimmy's style of interviewing, his personality and the subjects he covers. But he does force the voice a little.

I usually enjoy your show except for one thing. Sometimes there is this woman on with yawl and she starts scolding you, out of the blue. De rails the show and jaRS my nérves  i got a gf who pulls the same stunt in real life and cannot stand Hearing the same thing on a podcast.
