Just found this on the Yahoo news page!

This is heartbreaking, sad but true. I've worked with some of the young men and women that went there.
One guy is half Native American, he's slightly Psychic/Intuitive. Told me some scary sad stories of the ghosts of U.S. Servicemen
who died at some of the FOB's. That must really suck to have your soul/spirit stuck in a foreign land far away from home.

Saw this on imgur this morning

http://imgur.com/aOuggrg

Really makes you realize thru thick and thin over the last 240 some years who our best friends are.

Took our kids out of school that day and went to a peaceful place 40 miles out of town to a county park that overlooked the bay.
A lone Monarch butterfly of all things came and first sat on my hand, then my wife's hand as our kids had fun playing on the pirate ship playground. Even today that simple visit by that orange butterfly still gets to me. I felt it was the spirit of my dear departed grandmother telling me that everything would be OK. The family had been going to that same park for 30 years. And I had met my wife a year to the month that my grandmother had passed away. Think of all the parents who didn't make it out of the towers to go pick up their kids that day. And if you have the option go pick up your own kids today after school, take them to a park and just enjoy seeing them smile and play.

This last week and a half has been and up and down emotional roller coaster for my wife and I. We got the bad news that one of our nephews, who is a cute adorable little minion was very sick and had to be rushed to the hospital. It took us back 16 years ago when our youngest had a seizure and his heart stopped. I had been trained in CPR in the Coast Guard, with the Sheriff's Dept and with Airport Public Safety. Nothing prepares you for the shock of doing infant CPR on your own kid!
Well back the my little nephew Sephiroth. He's my oldest niece's first child barely 9 months old and now in ICU at Wisconsin Children’s Hospital. I'm sure some others here have been down this road when you were young parents too. I'm posting his GoFundMe page here.
Even if you don't donate I know thanks to Art Bell's different radio shows over the years the power of Prayer. So if you can include this little guy in your daily prayers it would be much appreciated!

Random Topics / Mad Men, Alternate Ending!
April 06, 2015, 01:49:52 PM
SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!

Due to the demand to keep their highly wanted group going a few employees at the agency put out feelers to other people in the field to create a new company.
They got positive replies from a few other small advertising companies that want to get bigger fast.
The other possible partners being considered to join are:
Micheal Noe, Greg Paine, Dennis Jacken and Bill Offenhaus.
After hours of wrangling  and heavy drinking and smoking they settled on who will get the best billing on who was
investing the most money.
And the NEW Agency will be called:
............................Noe-Paine-Jacken-Offenhaus.....................................
Roger and Don raised their glasses high and said "We agree, that's perfect." 8)
Peter replied with wide eyed shock, "Are you Fucking nuts!" :o
Joan and Peggy rolled their eyes and said, "You guys will never grow up, will you!" ::)

Well folks I guess we've gotten to the point of most of the guests and topics on C2C and even Dark Matter are the same tired old Bullshit.
Now with the internet and better TV shows and books we now know more about world history then we knew when we were younger.
My God look at the glossed over History we were fed in school! And now we have a new generation of guests who are parroting what the old guest who have died off used to say. Most of the time it's just authors pushing their books, or Quacksters pushing useless overpriced "Cures" And people who just get off hearing George talk to them late at night about whatever whack story you can make up. If Ya can't get laid, just call George for an "Ear Job" With a side order of "Butt Kissing"!
We could have entire volumes in the Grand  B.S. Encyclopedias like: Hoaxters, Hucksters and Fake MD's. Corporate Shills and Fake Battle Vets. Bigfoot Hunters who can't capture Shit, Crop Cirlcle Looneys, UFO butt probe survivors, Psychics who couldn't see 9/11 coming. Zetatalk & Planet X and other Alien Invisible Planets. People that should never be allowed to call a Radio Show!
I'm sure we could fill 20 volumes at least.

Now for the Book of Proven, Verified Truth. Pretty much around 200 pages.
Well fellow Gabbers, what topics and guests belong in the Grand Encyclopedia of B.S. And which belong in the Book of Truth?

Technology / RIP Radio Shack
February 07, 2015, 07:54:55 PM
Well for all us old Technerds who grew up with Radio Shack the end is here. :*(
All those glory days building ArcherKits, buying crystals for our walkie-talkies and Police Scanners.
Buying all those blank Video Tapes, 8-Track and Cassette tapes. Getting your free battery of the month with your card.
Tracking down Diodes, capacitors and resistors to bring dead things back to life. The little pocket TV's that were so cool.
The turntables, boomboxes, AM/FM Stereo car radios with the install kits. It's all coming to an end.
This picture sums it up. All that big expensive battery eating stuff now all fits in your cellphone in your pocket![attachimg=1]

Damn Jorch always gets a woody for the guy. Jeezus Cripes, Twilight Zone and Lost in Space stories again?
And this time they're dragging along the huckster Mark Zicree. This guy has been pushing his "Space Command" project
to separate the "Schmucks from their Bucks" since 2012! Always promising the movie is coming out real soooooooon!
It's as bad as the James Cawley guy over on Star Trek New Voyages site. "Please give us more money so we can film
ourselves playing Star Trek! And we will promise you the moon, and maybe even show you some footage!
It's like a stripper begging the customers for more money to see the goodies as she dances, but never really takes off her clothes.
Isn't Bill Mumy old enough to collect Social Security and do some E.D. commercials? :o

Just saw the listing for tonight. Another crackpot is going to weave a new bullshit tale of Nibiru! :o
Gee I wonder if he's related to that old dingbat that kept changing her prediction every time it didn't show up.
Guess the staff at the Premiere radio Nutwork are getting desperate. Kind of like the Jerry Springer show in the 90's.
Remember when they were hiring people off the streets to play out wild stories that were scripted?
Heck Jerry Springer would make a better Guest host on the weekends! ::)

Radio and Podcasts / Cat Down Mel's Hole!
September 08, 2014, 02:20:12 PM
Was listening to Art's Broadcast from 9-5-2003. It was the Open Lines segment, during the calls he played a recording that someone sent him of what it would sound like if a cat was thrown down Mel's Hole. It was so funny it cracked Art up! He played it twice!
First the cat sounded terrified as it plunges down the hole. :o Then after it hits the bottom he lets out with a very pissed low grumbling MEOOOOWWW! >:(

Jeeezus Crackers, we had another bumbling idiot on the first hour last night! Eric Schiffer had to start almost every sentence with "Ahh, ahh". Think Ahh in your head mister as your thinking, don't say it out loud! ::) I just love listening to Bozos like this, as much as I love hearing the other imbeciles that go, "Umm,Umm, Umm" and the blasted guys that punctuate each sentence with, "You know, Ya know, you know, right?" After 10 minutes with Mr. Schiffer I had to switch over to Blue Collar Comedy to mental floss my mind! ;)

Radio and Podcasts / Pahrump Hills on Mars!
August 11, 2014, 11:12:11 AM
Just was watching the Curiosity Rover update on the NASA website. They show the rovers planned path for the next few months.
On the map there was a geological feature named the "Pahrump Hills" Well I think we found a place where Art can start broadcasting sooner! ;) I don't think the SiriusXM Non-compete covers Mars yet! :P

Random Topics / Products and Medications on C2C
July 07, 2014, 04:36:43 PM
Okay boys and girls and Aliens of all federations. What do you like or dislike that has been offered for sale on C2C commercials?
What have you bought? What worked and what was a rip-off?
For me signed up for DSL Extreme 8 years ago, didn't get the price advertised. Service died after a year, they couldn't make it work again, even with their new modem they sent. Tried to cancel it, they fought for 4 months until AT&T kicked them off my line. >:(
Howsabout Carnivorna? Anybody buy this stuff? Has it worked? Do you have to sign up for a monthly billing on your credit card?
What's the disclaimer/side effects listed on the box?

Gee wasn't the guest in the last 3 hours of last night's show spouting something vaguely familiar?
seems he listened to John Lear's visits with Art in the 90's!
In the archives that were available last year there is a full interview with John Lear from January 1998.
Mr. Rhodes talked to George about stuff that John Lear told Art 16 years ago!
Seems everything old is new again! ::)

Radio and Podcasts / Grumpier Old Men
November 19, 2013, 07:07:59 PM
Well here's another take on why Art's new show bombed with callers.
First, same old guests from 20 years ago who are crazier now.
Case in point Richard C. Hoagland. Measuring Torsion field flex with an Accutron Watch! Really? No screws loose there!

Jonathan Reed, a.k.a Aliens in the Freezer Guy. Listen to his show from way back then, then show from 2 months ago.
Can't keep his story straight, and thanks to the internet has been outed as a huckster and a charlatan.

Steven Greer, says the new energy devices are just around the corner, for how many years now? Never any manufacturers in the USA making or selling these magical devices.

With more information at our fingertips these days, who the heck would want to call in to a program with these guys on!
In my line of work we call them, "OCOM's" for old Coots off Medication.
When some people reach a certain age their brains start to go wonky. Stuff they would realize was pure make believe they now consider intelligent fact.
Even Art's insistence that SirusXM put out a free live stream because people were already finding ways to listen for free doesn't make any sense. So what some of your fans who couldn't afford to pay for a subscription, or couldn't listen because of their location or equipment problems found a way to listen.  That doesn't mean your open up the store for everybody to get free stuff. Plus with all the other Talk Radio show on than ever before there is a more fragmented audience to listen and call in.
How do you think all those cable channels survive? More options, more shows, more channels than one family can watch.

Random Topics / Books, Magazine & Encyclopedias
August 04, 2013, 06:39:01 PM
Well was reading thru the "What Annoys You the Most" thread and noticed a lot of discussion of Books, Magazines and Encyclopedias.
Seems it deserves it own thread, maybe the Grand Exalted Moderator can move them over here.
For a start let me list my fav things to read as a Kid/Teenager, most I checked out or read at our local Library.
Books: WW2 History, Star Trek Novels, and anything to do with the Manned Space Program

Magazines: Popular Science,Popular Mechanics, Mechanic Illustrated, Car&Driver, Road & Track, Aviation Week & Mad Magazine. Had one crazy uncle that read Argosy, read some of the ghost and UFO stories in that.

Encyclopedias: The World Book set, first got hooked on them as a kid in the school library, them my grandparents bought the brown covered gilt edged set. Many visits as a kid to their house, then later moved into the house as a teenager I devoured that whole set, like others on here from A to Z.

I still am just a little of a book packrat, but have donated many books to St. Vinnies, the Star Trek books and magazines I accumulated over 20 some years I sold at flea markets to fellow nerds.
