When the word came down that Dark Matter would no longer be on the air after the "disagreement" lets call it, I myself was overly upset as so many were and still are. You had come back into all of our lives and became a part of our daily or nightly routine. You came back and whisked us away into the night then took off just as abruptly as you had entered. Leaving us all empty with a void in our lives we had thought to be filled for quite some time in the future.

To describe the years when you were not on the air was to me almost like drowning. We were running out of oxygen and you gave us a helping hand at the last second and pulled us back up into a reality we no longer thought would exist again. This may seem overly dramatic or fantastical but I am only speaking in terms of the airwaves.

You are a person who is extremely unique and intelligent but also comforting to so many of us. The details of the Dark Matter debacle at this point whatever they may be we have to forgive you and ask that you forgive us in our anger. The universe thrives on love and WE love you Art Bell.
