I would say there are (recent) posters here dividing us up more than GNoory ever could.  Maybe that is by design, I don't know.  I don't see a lot of people switching to the Noory camp but rather sitting and evaluating.  I think that tends to be a better approach than pouncing before you know what's going on.  That's just my thoughts on the issue so take them for what they're worth.

I agree with you that there is something else going on here possibly. The lawyers and whatnot. I just see him as being that kind of person. What did he even say last night people? Another thing that strikes me is I feel we are under premrat troll infestation assault. Probably the full horde. So I've read through the posts from yesterday and I'm a bit confused.  Since I wasn't here during the event I don't truly have the context so maybe someone who was here at that time can explain.  

I see that Dave acknowledged that he had made a mistake by not coming onto the site before (at least that was my understanding as I read through).  I did not see him apologize for doing a bad show, not prepping, asking questions a guest had just explained,(that actually occurred again last night during the fracking guest), etc....  In fact, he claimed that he was proud of C2C and that it is growing. 



The timing of his appearance seems fairly transparent.  I'm not certain he deserves much in the way of kudos for showing up on the eve of Art's new show to proclaim his appreciation of the forum.  If you think he deserves credit despite the timing ok, but I don't believe he gets much credit just for showing up.  If dave has answers then I'd feel he'd earned some measure of respect.  [/font]
 
I see that he stated he would take constructive criticism but I also read multiple posts of people who had email such critiques in the past without any positive result.  Why is dave interested in our opionions now?


MV has skin in the game and his opinion as to why dave showed up now is of real interest but any input as to motivations by those who were here is of value.  Prem is calculating as is noory, I tend to think that there is some definite reason.


Once the twilight zone was mentioned on C2C attention seems to have turned from "why now" to "say this or that on the air". 
If dave comes back into the forum is it important that he answer why he's showing this interest now? 
Is it fair to ask him why he seems unprepared during interviews or brings up angels so often?
Is it fair to ask why he allows guests to make statements that are factually incorrect without challenging them? 
I feel as though these are relevant questions but, I might be way off base I wasn't here.
If nothing else I think the appearance of the person who had dismissed justified criticism as "haters" means that this forum might been seen as important to blunting the impact of Art's new show?

So I've read through the posts from yesterday and I'm a bit confused.  Since I wasn't here during the event I don't truly have the context so maybe someone who was here at that time can explain.  

All good questions.  There were four main requests for shout outs, basically just to verify for certain that there were no coincidences and the person posting was at the station whether it was George or not.  It was very shtrange to hear four solid shout outs proving the poster was at the station.

You are correct though, other than saying once or twice he was wrong before for not listening and apparently asking now for constructive criticism, there was nothing on his side as far as what he would change.  There were posters who listed some of their "concerns" with the show, but Dave did not comment specifically. 

It did appear that if the purpose was to cause turmoil on the thread, that was somewhat successful.  Unfortunately George or whoever it was did not engage after the show was over, and the thread quickly died for the night.

Art (whom I adore) has always wanted to be removed from the show....so I decided to take his name of the credits---which I put back on....because it was silly  not to..he created the show.

As for my style..Im sorry I am who I am...the show is hugely successful ....weve grown it from 445 to 573 stations..and ratings are at an all time high..we have a great team here. I had to adjust the show..we couldnt be paranormal all the time...our stations want and appreciate the variety.

As for the anger towards me...gosh..let it go, Im sure you are all great people.....

I remember back when you first started & you registered on another forum. You asked us for feedback on what we liked and disliked about how you were performing.
At first we were all 100% behind you. Nobody set out to call you a failure.
Sadly over the years I and countless of other hardcore fans have stopped tuning in.
Why is that?  Is it because we have some hatred for you? No.
You seem like a nice enough person.

The problem lies in your inability to connect with guests and the topics that your guests are bringing to the table.
I will admit that I haven’t tuned in since 2011 (former streamlink member of 3 years).

The biggest complaint that I have heard is that you either don’t comprehend what is being said or you have a script and you will not deviate far from the script.
Art may have had an outline of questions. But I doubt he was 100% or even 50% scripted.
When a guest mentioned something interesting Art Bell jumped on that opportunity to ask in depth questions, or even a intelligent remark concerning what the guest had said.

We don’t hear that from you.

It may have happened, but I have not seen anyone say that hated Jeorge. I've seen clever and genius ways of expressing dislike of him/coast, but hate, hate is way deeper. It sure seems to me though that is the sort of groundwork theme being presented lately. And yes, it does lead somewhere.
One thing Jeorge needs to understand is satire and true meaning. Most of what we say is satire. I've said I'd like to take a shit on Jeorge before, but I am not, nor will I ever seek him out and make it come to fruition.

I think that if they wished to just cause in-fighting it could have been done years ago so I doubt that is the main thrust.  But it likely made them smile.


I tend to think that this will settle out, people tend to deviate back to the mean.  But come September premrat needs a strategy.

My thinking is dave might duck back in but I wouldn't expect any kind of mea-culpa or serious answers.  I believe that folks from premrat and the show will review the thread to see how dave's appearance was received and add that into their response to Art's return.

Maybe they don't understand how Art's new show will affect C2C and this is a way to test dave's "stock" with the fans?
Maybe they are deciding if they have any chance of shearing some of Art's potential listener base off? 
This show is the largest overnight program going as far as I know, this is serious shit for premrat. 
They have to take Art as a threat to future ad dollars; and I imagine they would very much like to know as much as they can about this new and unwelcome change to over night radio.
Of course it could be that dave showed up because he really is interested in us and wants everything to be cool, but......

You've echoed my thoughts to a T. I've been a Coast fan since 1997 and had a Streamlink membership from 2010 until earlier this spring. I thought George had potential when he first started, but he's become disengaged and seems to be just going through the motions now. I kept hoping things would improve, but it's like nobody at C2C cares.

I'm looking forward to Art's return. He knows how to make a fascinating show!

now that we all know who Gnoory is, if he ever decides to join the conversation again, can we refrain from asking him for shoutouts. I know that requesting verification was vital and necessary last night but it ended up sounding like tweeners talking to Bieber. I don't blame anyone who was present, it was a shock and exciting no doubt. Next time, if there is one, I hope we can get more answers  and be more prepaired.

Like other have posted today we need to hit him with constructive questions in an attempt to understand what motivates his sudden change of heart. No, several years of drama and tens of thousands of posts about Art's show, followed by the chronicling of the many ways in which Dave Noorie sucks got nuked into orbit by the owners of the forum.   The forum had been active and fun, much like this forum, for several years before the PremRat Noorie stooge appeared, almost exactly as he did last night.  Too many schisms, too much polarization, too much divide and conquer successfully implemented by PremRat and the Noorie-bot.  The saddest part of it to me was the nuking of several years worth of nightly live chatting about C2C when Art was at the helm, hosted by Spike Mike.  You've heard what happened there.   At the time, FF was considered "Art's forum".  That's why it had to die.  And that's what's going on here.

To give you an idea of the extent of the destruction, at one time my user ID over there showed that I had almost 3,000 posts.  After the nuking, I had well less than 50.   And so it was with everyone there, thousands of members.  What you see at FF now is absolutely nothing of what it was.    If PremRat and Dave Noorie think they can accomplish the same here, they *will* try.
