... I got an email from Noory that he will be in Santa Cruz this weekend, about a 100 miles away. Patty will want to come and she can drive... I WILL meet Noory this weekend if I have to push the Prius to do it.

Put everything you need for the interview in a cardboard box the night before.  When it's time to go you just pick it up and carry it out to the car.

And the cartoons.  Don't forget to bring the cartoons.  Is Tommy coming?


By the way, just how reliable is this Patty?  The last thing we need is for you to be late again because of Kathy and Patty - arriving late to pick you up, talking while you're tying to concentrate, unscheduled stops along the way, any of that.

Bus ? You have no idea how long that would take from where I live. The buses here don't even start on the weekends until 9 am.
I took the shuttle to the Expo and it alone was a 5 mile ride to the Expo ite from BART. The Expo site said it was within walking distance from BART. Someone was wrong.

I know the Big Guy tried his hardest this weekend.  He's beat up, tired, and sore - and more disappointed about not meeting with Noory than any of the rest of us.  I'll cut him some slack, and don't blame him for working on the apartment today.  That's important for him, and I don't want him to get evicted like Kathy.

Just talked to Kathy. She's on the way over. She's not thrilled about going to Santa Cruz as she gets carsick on the winding 2 lane roads going and coming to down there but she, Patty and I will be going. I have to call the radio station to find out where to go as its still being set up by the station.
