Years ago I lived in San Ramon, California. This was during the Gulf War. Over a large hill was a military installation called Camp Parks.  I remember one weekend when a friend was helping me build a deck on the back of the house. 3 HUGE black helicopters roared over the house. My friend, who had been in the military and was a pilot, was really upset. He said that the helicopters had guns of some sort on the front and that they were active. Now, there was no massacre in suburban San Ramon, California. But they used to fly so low that dishes in the cupboards would rattle like crazy.

The military also was using a frequency that would open and close garage doors automatically all over San Ramon!

I'm used to seeing them due to various bases and haven't noticed an untoward amount of increased activity. Though I haven't gone out to the places where the "resistance" per the Jade Helm scenario/training. (I actually was hoping to see more just to see some cool stuff.) But I don't like the idea of training "to master the human domain" or Special Operations and doing it on us; even just in the theory. Why master "domains" and train in rural, English speaking (mainly though that is changing) areas of the country with a high preponderance of veterans? Why being trained to "blend in" to that type of population? If nothing else just for the waste of money. Assuming the government is honest in their goal of "mastering domains" and "blending in" to enemies in the training....this will help in where we fight, are fighting? Reckon Smithville, TX will help us "blend in" against Boko Horum or ISIS? Or fight the Chinese even?
ps: I recall all kinds of fun with old cordless phones, garage door openers, scanners, etc. Not for nefarious perpouses but even accidents like hearing neighbor's calls, them opening your garage door, etc. Now, I think, only the government and hackers can do that stuff but it used to be commercial stuff didn't change crystals/encrypt so anyone could use.
