The more the reporters talk, the more it’s obvious they know nothing about guns, fertilizer, gambling, finance, real estate or investments.

I totally agree with you,  I want to take off my shoes and toss it at the monitor sometimes.

Then, what is to be done about it? Just accept it as one of those things until the next times?

Yeah banning alcholol and drugs sure has been successful hasn't it.  Many more people die from the effects of substance abuse than gunfire..  If someon is determined to obtain fully automatic weapons and slaughter people or use guns in the commission of crimes they will not be detered by gun laws.  Cities like Chicago and Detroit illustrate my point.  Do you think you think the good Democrat that now holds the record for mass killing was sweating being charged for breaking the law prohibiting the possession of automatic weapons.

Europeans are by tradition more amenable to confiscatory measures by their governments and that's why we Americans are not Europeans.

FALSE FLAG!!! There is no possible WAY your heart could go out to anyone and you still be alive; much less to the "classmate" of a son of a person that you do not know that the son of the person that you do not know also does not really know because he wasn't a "friend," he was a classmate, many years prior to CURRENT YEAR! I see you (((John Oliver!))) Shakin' dat AZZ!

A lot of questions here. I have not seen ONE image of a person with a gunshot wound. If you know someone who survived the shooting, post the name, there are multiple go fund me pages setup yesterday.

Oh so he's a democrat now? And that is the reason he killed all those people? What about the non democrats, or the religious nuts from all facets who kill people? What has been confiscated in Europe or the UK? Ever? Show the news on that one.

Is it a competition to see what kills more people? Kinder eggs are banned in the US because of the chance the toy inside can choke children. You know how many kids are shot each year in the USA? Average is nearly 5800. 21% are unintentional. 1,297 children die annually from gun-related injuries. Its the third highest cause of death of children behind unintentional deaths in car crashes and accidental drownings.

The first could be reduced by having higher driving standards and road engineering and the other by better supervision and covering swimming pools when not. A four year old picked up his mother's gun last year that she'd left on the back seat and pulled the trigger and shot his mother in the back. And she was a regular video advocate for guns and their 'safe' use. I think she was a leading light with the NRA too. Which is the go to organisation that has half the congress in its back pocket and knows it. How perverse is that?

But as I said, nothing will change. But it would if the family member of a Senator or Congress member was killed, or say one of Trump's family. I would bet my hair on that.

At his local Starbucks, Las Vegas shooter remembered for berating his girlfriend
http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-las-vegas-shooting-live-updates-at-his-local-starbucks-vegas-shooter-1507060195-htmlstory.html

Danley was much shorter than Paddock and stood elbow-high when next to him.
The abuse would come when she asked to use his casino card to make the purchase. The card enables gamblers to use credits earned on electronic gambling machines to pay for souvenirs or food in the casino.
“He would glare down at her and sayâ€"with a mean attitudeâ€"‘You don’t need my casino card for this. I’m paying for your drink, just like I’m paying for you.’ Then she would softly say, ‘OK’ and step back behind him. He was so rude to her in front of us.”

How did I know you'd say that? So this is from the paediatric journal..

https://www.webmd.com/children/news/20140127/twenty-us-kids-hospitalized-each-day-for-gun-injuries-study#1

A review of hospital records found that firearms caused 7,391 hospitalizations among children younger than 20 during 2009, the most recent year for which records are available, said Dr. John Leventhal, lead study author.

Of those shooting victims, 453 died while in the hospital.

More than half of the gun injuries involved an attack on the child, but nearly one-third were unintentional, the investigators found. (Others were of undetermined causes or from suicide attempts.) Three of four hospitalizations of children younger than 10 resulted from accidental injuries.

"Three firearms-related patients each day are younger than 15 years of age," Leventhal said. "This is a tragedy. There are substantial injuries to these children that may have lifelong consequences."

So what was the point of posting it if it wasn't to support your opinion? I know you're stymied with your eloquence but you could just as well have said 'Shooter's girlfriend is probably a muslim terrorist because she's visited Dubia', At least you'd have been honest.

By the way, there was an "active shooter drill" in LV friday, the person who was first interviewed, forget his name at this moment, had an IMBD page, and where did all of the military come from? The audio I heard was a machinegun, a platform weapon of some kind. The " shooter" was 400 yards away, and 32 stories up. It just stinks to me.
The most deadly mass shooting in history is an average weekend in Chicago.

Actually, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics, guns are the second leading cause of death among U.S. children, not the third.

Among injury-related deaths, firearms are the second leading cause behind car accidents for children ages 1-17.

This is particularly disturbing, as suicide rates in the U.S. are also soaring for adults. That a gun one might buy to protect their family would be used by their own child to end their life is beyond tragic.

Child suicides involving firearms rose 60% from 2007 to 2014 after having been on the decline and are 11 times higher among teens than 10- to 12-year-olds, researchers found.

How did the bullets get out without breaking the window? Until you can answer that, you have no other shooter from a different location.

I didn't say there was another shooter. Just saw the video. It's there for all to see from multiple angles. Also has anyone verified if the windows open or not at Mandalay Bay? Most hotels have windows that can be opened a few inches. Maybe they can, maybe they can't. I have no idea.

Yeah, because the same injuries would happen anyway. Carry on.. It'll all be forgotten anyway in a month. Except by the hundreds who will be having problems due to said gunshot wounds for the rest of their lives.
