Is that the mystical "AvroCar(9)"?

You provide Chinese Blueprints, to back up my assumption...

One wonders if this was among the datum "lost" with the hard-drive during the Clinton era in the New Mexico area.  WHAT?!?

I have lost track of the proto-typical iterations of thus, Avro19.5b???

Nautical!

This bastard looks pretty wild but will it fly?

Well, it brought you here, didn't it? AUTHORIZED.

Apparently the TU-95MS has the ability to shut down some of its turboprop engines in order to save fuel while at cruise.

That's some pretty slow landing gear as well.

Ignore the stroboscopic effects, the actual engine shut down occurs at 1:40 and startup at 2:50

That's not all that unusual, fairly common in the maritime patrol world.  The P-3 guys do it all the time to extend patrol endurance.

"We have reached out to several people and organizations to figure out what the original purpose was, but, so far, no one can tell us exactly what message the word ‘obey’ is supposed to send."

My lips are sealed. In spite of tremendous Quincunx pressures, my will remains thoroughly intact.

CIA declassifies Project Aquiline
QuoteThe U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has declassified its Project Aquiline on Jul. 30. The secretive program from the late 1960s was to build a bird-like unmanned air vehicle that can collect photographic and electronic intelligence plus emplacing sensors in denied environments.

Prime contractor was McDonnell Douglas and the vehicle’s dimensions are 5ft length with a wing span of 7.5ft. Powered by a silent engine with 3 1/3 horsepower, the mechanical bird has an endurance of at least 50 hours and a range of 1200 miles. It was proposed in the research study to add a radioisotope engine for it to stay airborne for up to 30 days or 36 000 miles range.

Interesting little tale here.  The Lancaster was the back up to the B-29 for the atomic missions over Japan.

I'm glad the pilot was keeping it safe by wearing a mask and that the methamphetamine precursors was delivered to the jungle lab in time.

"Hello, is this Safelight?""

Yes"

"Ok, I hear you will fix windshields and I will not be out of pocket because my insurance will pay for it."

"Yes, that is right. We will even come to your home or office and fix it."

"Ok, I am at 16°20'15.1"N 91°01'34.1"W, flash your headlight 3 times, shut off your engine, and put on a blindfold. You will be approached and searched.  And then taken to the location of my windshield by burro. Do not speak with your escort. They are impressed Indians and neither speak English or Spanish. You do not need to bring your solvents as the camp has plenty which we use in our processes."

This is my safeword now.
"reports the passenger who talked about the bomb was believed to be under the influence of marijuana edibles and Adderall, and was believed to be hallucinating."

One would think, now, that people appreciate edibles and reactions considering in some jurisdictions legal. Apparently not always. Air travel is so fun these days.

And a website that approaches C2C guests or Rense in mid-90's design for the videos and pics!

There were a few rumblings by China earlier this week because a U-2 was flying over a Chinese exercise area.

China is weird. I was drifting off the Sea of Shikoku for a little over a month in the 90s and there were military ships, definitely not US firing torpedoes for practice and I was super shook up from it. I wasn't scared exactly, but I had never been around "practice" drills and wasn't exactly military trained so I felt like 1. running or 2. fighting. Not like I am some expert, but I don't believe military drills are at all unusual there. U2 is CIA? Still, strange times, and with the Chinese warships circling the Philippines now... I am praying.

When the US Interstate Highway System was initiated in the mid/late 50s, there were originally specifications as to the height of signs within x number of feet from the edges of the road.  These dimensions corresponded with the ground clearance and wingspan of KC-135 tankers.  The idea was, in the event of all out war, the tankers would give SAC bombers all but a few minutes flying time's fuel and the tankers would land on whatever stretch of highway available.

Interesting.  Maybe pull off a dramatic landing on a freeway, only to be nuked minutes later.
