Actually, no....reality is reality. Perception is how abusive people try to spin things to make themselves feel important.

I kind of look at Art's track record as evidence of a man that wouldn't sell out. In the blood sport that is the radio industry, stability may actually equate to a lack of talent and a desperate need for approval. Case in point: George Noory.

Look at it this way. The world we know is like a hall of mirrors. Sometimes people know that they are looking at a somewhat warped piece of glass and sometimes they don't. Those times that they don't, it may take a large crack in the glass (like, a cat ran into it, maybe) or a sudden shit stain that won't clean itself up. But, the next image they perceive will likely be another mirror. You get the prize if you can see past the last mirror.

This whole mirror metaphor is very interesting, isn't it? There is an object and it's reflection. If you don't see that reflection clearly, then your perception is off...which tells you something about your own illusions. I guess.

At the end of the day, though, best to keep polishing your mirror, I would suspect.
