If Republicans had wanted a "Status Quo" President, then they wouldn't have voted Trump in.

What contemporary "Republicans" want, has now been amply demonstrated. Those now-revealed designs are exactly that which all previous generations of Americans died fighting to prevent and to defeat. Thus, "what Republicans want", has now become beyond irrelevant. There was a line. You have all collectively crossed over, and with full malice of intent. So just keep on movin now, keep on marching â€" in the direction of the nearest cliff!

It could be YP, that the America I hate is the America you love....

Or, to put it plainly YP, the America you Hate, is the America I LOVE...

You love Trump then? I say that because you know don't you, he doesn't love America. Sure, its provided him the means to be who he and his family are, but if he'd been born and raised in say Germany, and been a billionaire he still wouldn't have loved Germany.

Trump loves Trump. He may be fond of and fancy his wife and daughter but won't love them. His ego only allows him to be devoted to him. Completely. And he expects others to be devoted to him also. Which is why he will try to move mountains to ensure he and he alone controls America. No separation of power, no checks or balances.

He'd disband both houses if he could. If that seems far fetched, watch how he can straight faced say there would be nothing wrong in  him askng Comey to drop the Russia invstigation. What doesn't he get?

Its true he isn't a republican or democrat, but the GOP need him for the moment, until such time they don't. Trump won't make America great, he's a sick joke, a parody of a parody who neither knows nor cares about learning anything from anyone, the frightening thing being his world view is from TV today, this minute, and changes his mind on that basis. He has no concept of history, policy or anyone but himself. Take off and throw away the scales on your eyes.

Right, but Hillary Clinton loves America?

It continues to amaze me watching those who profess liberal views, continue to be the mouthpiece of the globalist establishment and push their agenda.

Note: the field and stands are completely empty!

The audience was behind the cameras.  It is a freaking graduation ceremony.  Of course there are a lot of people there.  You could here them cheering.

Decent speech by Trump.  He managed to make it not about himself.

Yes, I finally saw a photo on Twitter (below) -- everywhere the film crew pointed was empty though.
(the recorded cheering was pretty faint in any event)

But a Cure from thus-"trained" individuals is worse than the disease -- Betsy DeVos?!
And "Love", mentioned by Trump, is the one thing singulary and distinctly absent from any/all quarters of Team-Trump and any all Policies proposed or enacted, and any/all of his supporters, the entire Republican party.

Education should not be administered by Washington but by the state, city and county governments.

Trump will never be invited to deliver a commencement address at a real university, just far-right, evangelical Christian nut farms like Liberty University. The only contribution Jerry Falwell ever made to the USA or the world was dying.

Are  you an asshole in real life or do you just play one on Bellgab? Inquiring minds want to know.

I'm a bit perplexed by the Left and DC establishment and their media going after Trump on everything, even ice cream. Did they criticize Obama about his food choices or his frequent vacations, sans Michelle, with his "bodymen?" Or his smoking, etc? I understand that they will go after any Republican, especially one who wants to cut some regulations (that is jobs for government lackeys) and budgets (the number one purpose of any agency is to protect and expand their budget) but why does the Left want Pence? Trump is liberal on so many of the "social issues" and at odds with many Republicans. Don't they realize if Trump leaves office (by choice or by impeachment) that Pence would be President, not Billary or Bernie? And Pence would have a much larger support in the Republican Party and even more stuff the Left bitches about would likely pass. It is weird. Compare Pence's views with Trump, currently and historically, on things like abortion, homosexuality and the various BLTQS, religion, etc. They want Pence?

It is great that you get to pronounce the will and wishes of half of the country "irrelevant."  Did generations of Americans die so that you could be "right" and demand to override their will? Which other countries have we historically seen the minority ruling the majority and imposing their will... And how did that turn out?

Maybe in the end he will be impeached, perhaps investigations will turn up some interesting revelations.  In the mean time, claiming that Americans died so that the minority can rule the majority seems like an interesting interpretation of history.

Gyoza Girl

Haha, Trump goes to a college run by evangelicals and criticizes people "who think they know everything" and "want to tell everybody else how to live." I think he's got that backward!

And in the next breath, he urges them not to "let other people tell you what you believe, especially when you know that you are right.” Too funny!

Liberals love to embrace the fact that people died to protect their right to be intolerant of the very beliefs held by most of the people that died.

I'm pretty sure Gore's desirability wasn't a factor in Clinton's impeachment.

Wow, even Art thinks Trump has gone too far with his Comey tapes threat. Still, he's blame shifting Trump's nasty, unhinged behavior on to the general animosity in D.C. Like a codependent making excuses for an alcoholic, nothing is their fault.

I think Art needs to stop watching CNN and you need some new analogies.  ::)

Everyone bring there applications, resumes, references, bank statements,  credit reports, and biggest smiles with you and you can all compete with each other in person all at once!! See you there!

The answer is that there really isn't a left anymore. Those who claim to be politically left have been selling this country out to international corporate interest for years. Most Dems don't even want a single payer health care system and fight against it. Only their constituents want it. This is where Hillary's private/public voice came in. Obviously, there are a shitload of people who still want to be fooled and will even pay for it. ;)  ;D
