Anyone who disbelieves the sacred global warming dogma excommunicates himself from the Church of Scientism. Therefore only True Believers are left to be Legitimate Scientists. You know that, 'bagger.  Res Ipsa Loquitur.

Jesus, what a bitter-sounding, judgmental post.  I happen to believe in it and I am nothing like how you paint the True Believers.  Get real.

You might not be, but just listen to this quack on Art's show.  This carbon tax is being shoved down everyone's throats even though it's not helpful to the situation at all--only people with a single-minded political agenda of destroying the middle class want this tax.  You want to carbon tax corporations?  Go right ahead, but I assure you, there are no SUVs on Jupiter, and it's heating up too.  So leave my heating bill and gasoline price alone until you crack down on factories.

We should be much more concerned with a polarity shift.  Already mass magnetic spotting, and we're well overdue.  That is real science.  But no money and routes for power grabs making that a big issue.  Climate change is simply a way for the UN to gain more power over sovereign countries, and taxation.  Also mandates more control over industry, and complete government oversight.  That is why climate change is "a thing".  Nothing more.

66% of climatologists do not even take a position on climate change.  I'm betting 99% agree we're over due for a polarity shift.

Real science.

Al Gore also sold his tv network to big oil.

:) As the lawyers say: If you want to work for Wall Street, you should be suing Wall Street.

...and I'm back after my half hour lock-out.  Any fights yet?

No, but I've put a couple of people on Ignore.   :(

Scientists agree that man creates 3-4% of the CO2 on Earth.   The burning of fossil fuels sends seven gigatons (3.27 percent) of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere each year, while the biosphere and oceans account for 440 and 330 gigatons, respectively. Anthropogenic warming is totally insignificant.

WTF??  The Sun having a bad day does more to warm us than we could ever hope to.

I call BS yet again.

Too soon to tell, really. Excited to see his work as a winger but I'm not gonna pass any sort of definitive judgment after one pre-season game.... Unlike the rest of the city, who I'm sure has about 10,000 different ideas about how he handles himself on the ice.

He plays a lot like Todd Bertuzzi. He's a skill player in a power forward's body who will disappear for two or three games at a stretch before looking like the greatest hockey player in the universe for a game and then repeat. He's not much of a fighter but every player in the West is scared because he's so nutty and ended Bollig's career with his fists. He'll also hulk out like Bertuzzi once or twice a season. If he's given top six ice time and powerplay time, he could turn into a seriously rare and coveted player.

Prust was invisible aside from getting hurt tonight.

After 23 years as a fan I am so disappointed in Art tonight.

OMG!!!  Am I a DENIER??????

Welcome to the Dark Side.

There have been over 2400 nuclear detonations since 1945, and 500 of those were in the atmosphere.  Scientists planned all of them.  I don't trust scientists with an experiment to terraform my planet with climate change as an excuse.

I don't remember the specifics but the few days post 9/11. There were interesting climate impacts from drastic cancellations of flights. 're: albedo I also read how all our air traffic increases global cooling

Yeah, exactly, I mean nothing stops us from geoengineering the planet using only water vapor. There are many other ways being thought about.

I just want to get to the callers. I need my kooky entertainment!

And why not. There are people out there that want to see me pay $2000/month for energy for being such an energy hog by driving my car and having a small home.

We should have  banned cars before the Sahara turned into a dessert.  It's never too late though!

That's the funny thing, there are quite a few plans out there to mitigate climate change that are being acted on. It's just that media doesn't report about them. There's actually an engineer in Scotland, a very well respected one, that thinks it can be fixed with a 300 million dollar project to raise cloud albedo. Because of these programs climate change will eventually just disappear from the news because the problem was fixed and everyone will forget about it.

The media doesn't want to report on those because that might jeopardize the socialist carbon tax agenda.  I think you might be missing the socialist dedication to taxing the middle class into poverty though.
