My Uncle did shoot at a "shadow person" above his dresser. Of course it just made a bullet hole in the wall. This was in the 1960s and told to me in the 70s long before the term came out.

Art felt himself being watched, turned to the right and saw a shadow form up on the wall.  Poof - it disappeared. He turned back left & there that sucker was again. That was enough for Art, He took off to the other room, & got the gun. When he got back, the shadow person was gone. Scared the living shit out of Art. Apparently it had a pretty solid form.

There was some major cyber attack going on, from what I could see it was either a whole crap load of spamming or general denial of service attack.  Even Microsoft's cloud exchange servers were running in "degraded mode" for most of yesterday. They seemed to get a handle on it today.
