Sure let's make all present and future controlled substances and their black market knockoffs available, cheap and and even more accepted and stylish.  Everyone has a constitutional right to become an addict and a burden  and liability to his fellow citizens.  Certainly that's the answer to the drug epidemic. Criminalizing the morons who advocate for decriminalizing drugs would be a better solution.

There has got to be more intelligent in-between measures.  Offering experimenters rehab in lieu of  jail is a step in the right direction.  At least now there is some degree of stigma attached and a measure of deterrence in place as inadequate as it may seem.  What happens when Johnny and Susie witness adults shooting up and smoking crack openly in everyday life. It's bad enough that it is glamorized by entertainers that kids pay attention to.  WTF?

Principles wise the Constitution party is a solid choice if you’re an originalist.  I was involved with them for a number of years in the past. They do have a bit of a problem turning words into action however. When it comes time for feet to beat streets for ballot access petition drives and what have you, rather than just sitting around bellyaching, you get pretty lonely.
