There are no good Catholics. :
In my experience a lot of Asians who come from communist or former communist dictatorships still seem to think that would be just great, moreso if they can spread it to an evil capitalist country. However, you’re not even really that anymore anyway. JT has you half the way there and teetering on the edge now. Soon the state will claim your business and land and who’s smilling face will be there when it happens? Yep. Don’t believe me at your own risk.

Hungry Like the Wolf, Duran Duran, yep. Although that was a remix done on a Solton Ketron Programmer 24 from 1985. Amazing machine.

I think it was a cover of Duran Duran's Hungry Like the Wolf

Just like your show. Do you still use that gay and fake robot voice?

Did someone else hear that? A faint peeping sound. Erratic, monotonic, insubstantial.
Well, it's gone now. As you were.

Hey kids,
Last night a friend enlightened me on the extent of California's internet stalking laws. A 2,000+ page thread devoted to harassing one man, no matter what his character is, with members sending stuff to his home address, publishing his personal details, etc. is no joke at the end of the legal day. The recent Michelle Carter/Conrad Roy ruling also illustrates that people can now be held criminally responsible for inflicting mental distress on another person via electronic means.
I had a conversation that scared the hell out of me last night. If Falkie got so inclined and motivated -- along with the ear of a sympathetic judge -- he could have a legal field day with this thread and then get the last laugh all the way to the bank. And sheeeeeeezus, this thing would make national news. I can just hear Nancy Grace squawking about it now.
I'm out. I don't want to be a part of it anymore. I've worked too hard to climb out of my own rock bottom to lose it all because of juvenile antics. I'm deleting my account here. If MV were smart, he'd delete this whole thread.
I have said some really assholish things here, but I started out trying to be supportive of Falkie. Hell, my bank records will even reflect that. But I'm done with his channel too. This whole thing has gotten effed up.
I don't know if my posts will vanish when my account here does. I hope so. If that's the case, I'll give it an hour or so, so those of you who are good people at heart (and that's a lot of you) can hopefully see this and really think about what you're doing over here. It's a new world, everything's online now, there are no physical boundaries anymore and criminal and civil laws are reflecting that fact.
I know the hate's going to rain down on me for this post. I'm not judging anyone here or sitting on a high horse or anything. It's just not who I am. I have my own mess of a life. I shouldn't be throwing stones from my glass house.
Take care my fellow Art Bell fans! This thing started out as a place where we could all listen to the damn RADIO together. I miss those days. I made some good friends on Bellgab and we've had a lot of laughs. I'm grateful. I wish you all good things always. Peace be your journeys.

Are you another of the poor women who men drive by because you have developed a wrinkle?
Quote from: WOTR on May 26, 2019, 12:29:01 PM
Still no acknowledgement for the other reasons that people don't stop? If it is 25mph, it is in the city. People don't stop in the city (and most don't on the highway anymore, either.) It is not the wrinkle on your face- it's that our culture has changed.
Oh, and one more reason that is not age related... There was a time when a man with basic mechanical knowledge would stop and have a pretty good chance at feeling important- maybe even be able to fix the car. "Hey there, little lady. It looks like the engine is starving for fuel. It could be your carb- but I think your in line filter may just be clogged. I'll just grab my trusty wrench set and pull that out for you. Now you be sure to get to the garage and get a new one installed as soon as you can." If it could not be fixed, many of us had a tow rope and would pull you to the nearest station. No longer is that an option (I can't imagine the fine. And the last person I pulled did not realize they had to hit the brakes to keep the rope taught. Actually hit my back bumper lightly and I used my car to stop theirs for the light before getting out to explain how to be pulled.)
Those days are gone. Who wants to pull up to a car and come off as an impotent fool? Now the only question to be asked is "would you like to borrow my cell phone to call for a tow truck?" Why should we stop (albeit, I still do, occasionally.) But most men don't have a wrench set, most don't carry a computer to diagnose if it is your cam shaft position sensor, knock sensor, or spark controller that has failed. Most are not going to feel that they have been of any help (and yes, I would suggest that feeling important was a big factor of why men stopped.) Maybe we can fix it. Maybe we can tow you to a station. If not, we will at least save you the walk to a pay phone. That was the 90's or early 2000's. Now we can just say "are you O.K? Have you already called a wrecker? before driving off like fools.
But again, blame it on the wrinkle under your eye. Blame it on men in general. (And I won't argue that an 18 year old waitress dressed in a short skirt and thigh high black boots with a low cut top will still have somebody stop. But it is not just age related- and if you don't fit the above description, you are out of luck.)
I suppose my next question is: aside from feeling attractive, why do you want somebody to stop? Do you have your own phone? Do you think that they can help you? Are you going to require a tow truck anyhow? Would you really rather get in a car with a strange man and have them drive you home and know where you reside than jump in the passenger seat of the wrecker when it shows up to pull your car away?

That got me banned*, but the one that got my ip blocked was when I posted a gif file of two dudes yanking each other's cranks.
Nobody appreciated art at that time. I hear that this site allows bestiality pics, or did. I've been busy and missed most of the drama.
*...unjustly, because you could barely see the penis. The girl was bitching on and on about some pointless shit, and then the guy did what many of us dudes think about doing in that situation. But the chicks on this site had a collective conniption, so BANNED.

The quote below is from the one and only interview and public statement that Airyn wrote herself and spoke in her own voice. When you combine Airyn's statement (below) with the recent interview that DH did w/Tony, he was HW's producer and stayed with her for several days in 2018 after AB died, I think it becomes obvious that HW was/is not accurate when she said with certainty that AB committed suicide. HW probably does truly believe this, but I doubt she ever had any actual proof of seeing and reading AB's alleged suicide note. I sincerely believe this, also, because HW never gave any details about what the suicide note said.
This interview with Tony is very insightful about HW's personality and lack of empathy. Here is the Tony interview:
