It's a decent name, legacy-wise. I'll give her that. Heather fundamentally has a self-esteem problem. It's not that she's an uninteresting or untalented person. She simply lacks the stones to just be herself and not give a fuck what anyone else thinks about it. Even if I didn't like her I'd at least respect her more if she'd do that.

Give her time, as things stabilize (assuming they ever will) it may yet come.

Why would anyone want Heather to get better?  Then she would be just another late nite talk show, one among millions.  At least this way, she is something different to listen to as an AWFUL late nite talk show, full of twists, turns, drama, and complications.

It would depend on whether there was a legal definition between a slogan and a branding. KNYE was using "Things that go Pahrump in the Night" as a slogan but a "Kingdom of Nye" branding when it started. The slogan changed to "The Big of Voice of the Valley" but the branding did NOT change. So it would be a good legal question. If it is indeed a valid argument then for anyone using this again the concept of latches really does come in. Any attorneys on BG???

2.) I enjoy hearing a female voice in this medium (pun intended).
3.) Art's last pick is reason enough for me to cut some slack.
4.) Praise Dave for his professionalism, but he's a bit perfunctory for paranormal (my opinion), but then so is George Knapp.

Point 3 is the reason I gave her a solid 3-4 months, defending her against trolls but in the end they turned out to be right. That happens here more often than you'd think.

I can tell you on point 1, where she came from was total disarray. That has been handled and she gets in and out of her bumpers nicely now.

If I had to pick someone I'd like to hear lot more of in paranormal talk, it'd be Ian or Richard Syrett.

I need some kind of voice that sounds right "in the dark", and (sorry Dave) his very crips delivery just lacks a type of intimacy that I'm looking for.

I tell you though, I hate critiquing something as individualized as that because the guy is a phenomenally organized and prep'd interviewer and I totally respect that.

At least evil mv sits in his amusing little virtual studio on YouTube with live YouTube chatters to make him unique.  Thats what I like about Spooky Tim as well, except his studio is a REAL one, which is equally as unique and interesting as a virtual one IMO, plus Spooky Tim is an active bellgabber, which always helps in my opinion.  The rest are just one among a million mediocre talk show hosts IMO.
