It was a good show.  All real, hard science and not some self-proclaimed scientist making things up that feel intuitively right.

goo goo, daa daa. You have the English of a 3 year old.

Not very inclusive dude.  He is part of the community right?  You need to do some outreach here.

Science talk with sweet frog fornication going on softly in the background.
Hard to beat. Good show!

Absolutely!

Combination of good presentation (voice, pacing, simple language) and the ability to get to the point quickly.  I wasn't hearing him thinking (like Grant's "ummmmms" that were followed by made-up talking points).

Excellent guest! I know sometimes we all like to steer away from academic, but it was nice to have someone who has been through the "piled higher and deeper" journey on the radio. Its nice to have a rigorous science booster from time to time. And very little guest venom in the thread too. Nicely done Mr. Bell.

I agree. And it was a full moon too!

Apparently the frog fornication extends into the house. He did say that there's usually a few inside.

Great guest, great show.
And tomorrow, "special" open lines. Can't wait!

Now, for a different kind of fun, join us at the RCH Live Chat thread:

I really like that Art Bell commercial for subscribing to Time Travelers. It's got the perfect vibe and tone to get people to subscribe and not pirate.

doctor weird

definitely my favorite guest so far. The callers brought it tonight as well. Good show!

G-night Gabbers.  Listening to RCH for as long as I can and off to bathe and bed.

F*ck C2C and Dave.  He repulses me now more than ever.  Lazy piece.

Hmm..i'll look into that. Thanks.

If you're on Android, just go to your browser and go to Darkmatterdigitalnetwork.com and stream directly...  The AAC link works best for me but you have 4 choices there... take out your app middleman

I'm ready to die now.  I've been a caller on MITD!

I was the 2nd to last caller tonight.

I'm Dustin,  I asked about what is the boundary to the edge of the universe and what lies beyond it.

I've always wanted to know that and only Art Bell and his guest could answer it.

Thank you Art & Dr. Dvorak.

ZomZom

What an outstanding interview of a delightful guest.  Not only did this thoughtful, civil discussion elevate my spirits, I think such a program, especially with more like it, can elevate the culture.  Loved it.

I agree with all the positive sentiment about this one.  I'm so used to hearing the potential of guests like this frittered away on that other show

But Art's genuine curiousity for the topics really brought out the best from this excellent guest.  How refreshing.  Thanks Art!

This fellow is the very best guest so far.  Probably the best of all time if you want to hear the truth.

I've been chasing tornados for years.
I know Reed gets really excited and screams a lot but, damn, he gets the killer footage!

Reed loves what he does and makes a lot of money doing it. I never chased with him, but have talked to him on the road and even sat in the drivers seat of the "dominator" heh. I started to calm down a bit after Tim Samaras and his crew died while chasing. Now I just basically chase locally and hit a few towns closer to home.

That was a tragic lose.  Tim was so careful.
I'd love it, if you have enough footage, for you to start your own chase thread.  Up to you though.  It's hard, and scary work!

I had a lot of footage on my computer, but the hard drive fried back on the fourth of july. Lost everything. Now I am stuck on this damn tablet.
