Horribly slow connection tonight.
Actually, if I allowed pictures to load in the thread, it would knock out the stream.
I'm using the low bit-rate stream (AAC) too, which I only need to pull 10-15 Kb/s to maintain.
(I use ifstat to monitor it.)
But, I run an addon that allows me to selectively load pics from each individual server - 500px.org, wordpress, bp.blogspot, etc.
It's pretty handy for when my connection is slow, or I want to block a certain site, like Google.

I've been there as well. Shutting down unused browser windows and skype, balancing the laptop on stacks of books for a better wifi connection, praying nobody starts the microwave oven to kill off the 2.5 GHz channel.

LOL - yup.
My connection from the lappy to the router is pretty strong. It usually holds around 70 Db. It's from the router to the tower that gives me problems. 
If the weather even thinks about changing, my connection goes sideways. 
(I have the router mounted on the ceiling, but I live in a reception hole.)

I had it also suggested to me by a witch in Virginia City that I should go through a sweat-lodge ceremony with a shaman.  She said I have some unresolved issues and I could find out about past lives as well.  She knew a lot about me just from spending a few minutes with me. She is correct about the unresolved issues. It was just a bit of friendly advice so she had nothing to gain by telling me that.

I'd be open to the LSD experiment but I don't want to take a bad trip.  Never did it before.

Your unresolved issues don't seem to affect you as much as the unresolved issues of other people here...
