Roth is my favorite of Van Halen's singers.  He is such a character.  Likes to play the cheeseball a lot.   I think he was in vaudeville in a past life.

My wife just gave me the most wonderful gift last night.  Tickets to this April's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in New York City.  We're going up for a week.   ;D ;D ;D ;D

I saw them on that tour. I brought binoculars and actually picked up a trick or two from Eddie that night. It was excellent!  :)

Oh no. They have an awesome origin story. Their father had a vision in which his daughters would form a music group. By vision I mean like a prophecy. He might have been a bit mad. Anyway he wanted to keep their music pure so he home schooled them, didn't let them have friends, didn't let them take music lessons and didn't even let them listen to any music. They had no point of reference. They recorded one album and toured until their father died. After he died they stopped playing music.




Anyway they've reunited and they're gonna play Solid Sound Festival with Kurt Vile, Wilco and Television.
