My point is i have seen great forums being taken over by 4chan in short order,its what they want.

Well, truth be told you are anonymous everywhere on the Internet, unless you choose to disclose personal details.
But I do agree that MV should have clamped down harder on the assholes around here, and that's coming from an old school guy who has always stood up for free speech on the Net. That being said, this site is not our property. How it is run is not in our control.
You either choose to be here or not. I've been in and out of BG over the years, and it looks like I'll be out again very shortly.
You're either entertained and happy to hang out on certain sites or not. The last bastion of freedom on the Internet is your own personal discretion as to whether you continue to participate or leave a site. No one is forcing anyone to go anywhere or stay there.
It kind of reminds me of something one of my programming teachers taught us. He said a software program is a reflection of the programmer. For those who have done any application programming you know what I mean. The same thing applies for web sites and social media. Those are a reflection of the creators and administrators.
