I called my sister and she mentioned that her husband had a few guys form work over this evening. I asked if he was allowed, given that we are living in unprecedented times.

Her response was that they are bored with distancing and done with it. It seems like we are finally at the point where almost nobody can be bothered to even pretend to care anymore...

If anybody is wondering- there have been 0 deaths in this province since the 18th of May. It is getting difficult for them to justify why we all need to still live in fear.

I'm still waiting for this. Masks are handed out at Costco- but not mandatory (yet.) I used to be sure it was coming. But I do think that these riots have people starting to "forget" about corona chan.

Menards is the worst in the country people are uploading videos of run in's with the tactical mask squads. The guy that got lippy with me didn't have a gun that i could see and was not wearing a $20 ebay molle tactical vest LOL! I ended up going to Lowes and the Home Depot and neither store gave a fuck if you wore a mask or not. Needless to say i will not be shopping at Menards again.

I have a tough time condemning Maynards when I defended the bakery's right to not make gay wedding cakes. Both are private business, both can put in place any idiotic rule they wish. Customers can chose to have their cakes baked elsewhere or buy their retail goods elsewhere.*

I went into a store where a greeter tried to force a buggy on me as I entered. I told her I didn’t need one because I was only grabbing a couple things. She told me that didn’t matter because this was now the way the store was “keeping track” of how many customers were in the store. I told her I didn’t need to shop here that badly and can get these items elsewhere. She seemed smugly happy about that. I left and haven’t been back and I used to shop at this place fairly regularly.
