And your point is what exactly? You can take or leave Hoagland at your discretion, it matters none to me. This Stewart lady is an entirely different league. This isn't even an apples and oranges type comparison; it's more like apples and hand grenades. They gave airtime to a lady who has been making claims that she won a case that anyone can check to see was dismissed years ago. I can't prove what is or is not on Mars or the moon, but I can damn sure tell that this lady is no "prolific writer" (one short story and a "new book" that's a 130 page piece of fan fiction written like a high school play in three decades is not prolific) and she did  not create Terminator or The Matrix. Those are provable claims and they were refuted long ago.

Chase has been tainted. I think Art's probably got something quite cool and quite different in store for the new show's theme.

That show with Ms. Stewart was the final straw for me. I could not believe it when John B announced this charlatan as being an upcoming guest, and I really can't believe no one vetted her BS before it even got to that point. NOTHING about any of her stories hold up to even the most basic scrutiny and listening to her makes me wonder if she is a conwoman or simply delusional. Seriously, just typing her name into google reveals this: http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/matrix.asp

The guests and the shows have just fallen completely off the cliff. It's like Premiere knows the jig is up starting tonight and they've already raised the white flag.

Just go ahead and read some of the replies to see how well THAT went over. Also note the initials "GN" at the beginning of that tweet: those are always used to denote posts that George himself is putting out there. So basically he's owning this one.

George really "outed" himself with this move. I was willing to believe he was a decent guy and give him the benefit of the doubt, but he's ruined that image for good with this stunt. If he didn't know what a colossal bad move this would be---well now he knows.

Okay, I was trying to listen to the show tonight and noticed this, too. So much so that it made me come here to see if I was alone in noticing that almost everything George has said tonight is something straight out of the "George Noory autopilot sound board". I almost believe he falls asleep sometimes and the producer just hits a button to produce a semi-appropriate sound byte response. This is not a new theory, but it seems to be gaining plausibility.

I know something's going to happen because something's going on. Uh-huh. I agree. You've got that right.

I'll be back in a few months when I forget how low the show quality has gotten, tune in for a few hours, and need to let off steam again.

You did understand from my posts that I think this BadBoy guy's a creep, that I don't like the current Coast To Coast, and that I was here originally because I'm a fan of Art, right? It seems like you believe I'm one of the supporters, judging by the nature of your responses. The only thing we may be in disagreement about on these subjects is the exact amount of beating one should give dead horses. I'm not denying the right to beat said horse, I was just giving my own personal opinion of equine carcass abuse (that it's not my thing).

At this point the people waiting for Art to come back remind me of myself in 2004 thinking "maybe this will be the year Barry Sanders realizes he made a mistake and comes out of retirement." It didn't happen, and neither will Art coming back to Coast. Sometimes a guy comes around who can't be replaced, and when his run is over, that's it.

That written, I did notice something several months back on a "Somewhere In Time" show there was a caller asking if Art was going to do some convention/expo/group wank thing and he mentioned that he doesn't like to travel and do those; nor did he want to do television or anything else that would take away from the show. He just wanted to make the show the best it could be, and that other stuff detracted. I was hoping someone in charge of selecting shows picked that one to wake up "traveling Jones" George, but I suppose I was reading too much into it.

I figured you kids would jump right on this. When I heard that forum get the shoutout I figured I knew what was up. I signed up here last year because, well, I dig Art and classic Coast just like all of you. I think the quality of current Coast has really gone downhill over the past few years, but you guys take the hate to a level that isn't my bag.

Clearly this is the same guy who ran the Nighthawkzone. I was a member there for a number of months, and I think you guys have it all wrong when you think it was all rubes who didn't know the score and spent hours per night heaping praise on George Noory. Oh, some were without a doubt (but most may have all been the same guy under different ID). You probably know this by now, but "BadBoy" edited the messages. Not just deleting, but literally going into them, changing things, and erasing certain content. Criticism would disappear, whole sentences would be rewritten; it was ridiculous. When a handful of us caught on and were discussing it in PM, we got out accounts suspended! Private messages were not so private, it seems. Also, something I always suspected but others here seem to back up, "BadBoy" was masquerading as several different board members for---whatever his reasons.

Anyway, what you could NOT have known (because no one else did until now): a handful of forum users there came up with a code we'd use on the board. Fascinating= what a load of crap, this is great= this sucks; just simple stuff like that. It was a lampoon of what he wanted on his board. We'd touch base through the forums and then chat via messenger to ourselves about what we really thought of the show.

But the bottom line is that this seems to be a guy with some issues. I see that some here had beef with this guy at some point, but by now it kind of comes off like the jocks picking on the retarded boy in middle school. You know what I mean? Let him have his little board populated by himself and his other board IDs, and do your thing.  Because at this point I think "texaskdog" is right; if there's anyone else on there it's probably guys like you messing with him.
