I must say, I've never been a fan of the woman as the host of Midnight in the Desert...

But this is a pretty shitty thing that's been done to her after losing Art.

I agree, that's not a good look furthermore proving and solidifying the truth.

Episode 96: Andromeda Council
Tolec is an Earth human representative of the Andromeda Council, an intergalactic, interstellar and inter-dimensional governance & development body of aligned benevolent star systems & planets of sentient, intelligent life for worlds in both the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies.
Here on Earth they are collectively known as the Andromeda Council. In space where they function, the various
member planets, ambassadors and other delegates simply refer to it as the Galactic Council. You can think of the Council as a deep space United Nations.
He has been given the name “Tolec”, as an Earth based, pubic persona work name by the five people with whom he regularly communicates who are stationed on the primary Andromeda Council biosphere where many of its meetings are held.

Thanks, Michael
That was a good interview, interesting, I have listened to Albrecht a few times, never heard her mention a co-author. Funny, with all of this spying bullshit, we have today yet ANOTHER shooting by a guy "known to the secret service" using, wait for it....ANOTHER AR-15. They must really think we are ALL stupid! Such bullshit! I'm sick of it, and I don't believe a goddam thing the MSM reports.

You're welcome, I read your email last night at the second half of the show. I agree, that was a fun Interview to do.

The AR-15 proving to be the weapon of choice. Hard to believe the mainstream media, I don't blame you for that.

I'll try and get last shows show up soon.

I spoke to Keith Alan Leach, this afternoon. He is the host of http://www.forthepeopleshow.com. He stated that Chuck passed away on Tuesday April 17 2018. Chuck's health was declining and he was living at the Signature Nursing Home. in Gainesville, Florida. According to Keith, Chucks daughter Darlene was not having a funeral or posting an obituary because she didn't want to be swamped with callers, etc. She was very devoted and visited him every Thursday. Keith had a nice tribute show (available free) and included among other callers Stanton Friedman, who had been on Chuck's show many times as well as visiting and staying at the Telford Hotel in White Springs, Florida where Chuck broadcasted his show. I met Stanton during that early 1990's visit and attended his evening lecture that he gave at the local school's auditorium -which was packed. I moved to White Springs in 1993 from New York City, and purchased Chuck's Circa 1900's Queen Anne house. During Chuck's busy 1990's heyday hundreds of listener fans visited this small town of 750 people and no traffic light. They traveled from all over the country to stop by, listen to the live broadcast and watch Chuck through the french doors of his studio from the lobby of the Telford Hotel. Some, as I did, stayed at the Hotel and enjoyed the dining. Chuck was the Rush Limbaugh of his time. I first heard his show on WMCA when I lived in Floral Park, New York. His organization created a lot of jobs in the local community, including a restaurant, bookstore, groundskeepers, etc.

RIP Chuck. Many remember and will miss you.

Damn that sucks, I called chuck and talked to him briefly last year. I felt so bad, he told me he was in excruciating pain.

I believe Heather did the best to her ability, however anyone trying to follow art, its just not happening. That's an act that cannot be followed, I do have respect for Heather, for her efforts going into a proverbial sucide mission.

I'm washing down the C2C tribute show with the Bateman vs Redacted gabcast.

I recall listening to that, that was the first time and last time hearing both, I believe I even heard a "your getting better every night", in there. I can't quite remember.

He did and he also said that Art was the one that came up with the idea of having Heather invade Area 51.

I'll ask him about it, Dr. Albert Taylor will be joining me soon... weird he was not on the coast tribute last night.

That was a great tribute, GN did a good job.

The way JBW and Coast parted ways I doubt he’d be on tonight.

I can confirm, you'll never hear him on c2c ever again.

Art was suicidal?

Excellent point. Also, in terrestrial radio, hosts and deejays were reularly axed if they didn’t bring in the listeners. Radio “personalities” experienced one of the highest rates of turnover of any profession. I guess if you took it personally, you’d move on to a career with more stability.

They are notorious, for giving you the axe on holidays & weekends.

I really hope SDM calls in. Apparently he called into some other show recently and it was hilarious because the automated system that breaks in and says "this call is coming from a Federal Prison" periodically. That would be hilarious and offer Norry an opportunity to state, once again, how popular his show is with people in prison.

When I interviewed Sean, leading up to his arrest before he fled... He seemed like he thought he would evade arrest. Cool & calm... Good ol Sean

Right, but if she felt that she had the talent to do this, she could have built herself up and created her own legacy rather than riding on the coattails of Art Bell. Or took the existing show in her own direction (as Art stated he told her to do early on, if I recall correctly). Or, if she and Art really were that close, maybe he could have helped her advertise by telling his followers about what she was doing and how he supported it. He could have put links to her show on his Facebook page or wherever his fans would see it. He could have let her interview him to drum up listeners for her project. All of these things would have helped her without corralling her into being Art - assuming she had the talent to succeed. If she did have talent, pretending to be Art seems to have completely squelched it. It seems like the path she and Art chose was the worst path possible, at least where the show is concerned.

It's safe to assume that she's self conscious that she stinks, as I said many times about her and other host's. Why pretend to be something you're not? It's not genuine, this whole thing wasn't genuine haha. People continued to listen in hopes art would return. Art could have done things a lot differently, but this was just another mistake. Nepotism can only take you so far.

This is one of the reasons why I could not bring myself to continue listening to MITD early on. I can't even listen for 5 minutes straight before cringing and turning it off. It sounds like Heather is putting on a voice and mimicking Art's mannerisms. I liked the Redacted of the old BellGab days, but Heather seems different and like she's trying way too hard to be Art in every way. You can't pretend to be another person and sound natural night after night.

I wonder if she would have done better if she had started a show from scratch, making it her own with her own voice/opinions, etc. Hell, she might even have a better personal experience with it because she wouldn't have had to take all the flak like she did when this started with Art. She already had an audience here at BellGab, but instead, she clung on to Art in an unhealthy way. And listening to old BellGabs, there were a lot of other people on the show who were much stronger, better hosts/participants than Heather - people I would have chosen over her in a heartbeat if I was Art. Really makes me wonder what Art saw in her. Even after doing this for a while, she still sounds really bad. I guess Art thought otherwise and he was the seasoned professional, but as a listener, I still don't get it. I'm not trying to be mean, just giving my honest opinion. I think at least part of the problem stems from trying to be someone she isn't.

I am in some MITD/Art Bell groups on Facebook, and I have such a hard time understanding the people who seem to mindlessly adore Heather. They talk about her like she is the most amazing thing they have ever heard. I don't get what she did to deserve such admiration other than being hand-chosen by Art. It's like these people can't possibly be listening to the same MITD as the rest of us.

Without art bell no one would know who heather was, except for this website.
