I don't like that the video is sideways on periscope and i cant mute it.

It has a mute button on my browser. Hover over / touch the video, a volume control should appear.

The video is sideways because Art is filming this with his iPhone, which he has oriented on its side. Periscope shows you exactly what the camera sees. If he had placed his phone upright, you'd be getting an upright video.

CTRL+ALT+Right Arrow Key  (Windows, most versions)  to return to normal, CTRL+ALT+Up arrow key

Just listen with the the Pop-out player. No problems at all.

Just tried that, got the same result I got the night of test show......heard the "StreamGuys" spot and then nothing. 

Really discouraging.  How do I know I will be able to listen to the podcasts as a subscriber?  If I'm going to have the same problem, why piss away the money?
